I just don't answer these calls as they are business calls asking questions or trying to get you to invest money in some sham deal. I originated from the southern states and we have always be advised not to invest in/on the Gold Coast as you will most likely get caught up by some con man. An example of this was recently shown on the ABC's 4 Corners program about a residential property development.

Answered they said doing a survey. I said no thanks and hung up. I am on do not call register also.

So over these bullsh*t calls 5 times a day! I have a private number and on the do not call register and still they call. f*ck off

I got a call from this number a guy said someone died he did say a name but didn't hear what he said so I said "sorry what was that " he had already hung up on me very fu*@ing rude also my phone number is private number.

Have called me 3 times today and when I answer they just hang up. Extremely rude!

STOP The Telemarketing Phone Calls

Spam call. Ignore. based in Gold coast.

I have found out some information about the Entertainment Research organisation. It is associated with the Southern Cross Austereo radio station network which apparently operates 80 odd radio stations across Australia. This associated Entertainment Research organisation is based on the Gold Coast.
I suggest people just avoid the organisation and if you have Caller ID facility on your phone just don't answer the phone if that number calls again. They apparently are not considered to be telemarketers.

This particular Gold Coast number is for a company called Entertaiment Research, who obviously only want to waste your time and possibly money. They even ring my professional office so they are nothing more than a nuisance.

The "marketing research" they are doing is finding out what times you answer the phone so that they know when to call you back.

The number on this forum and 5601600 are also a culprit. I've received 3 phone calls alone today from these numbers. Same thing, nobody there when you answer. Fed up with it!

Over getting called from this number, my number is private. If they call again I will asking to talk to someone in charge and give them a mouthful.

Missed a call from this number and tried to dial back with Telstra message "this number is not connected." A short time later missed a call on my mobile from (07) 5510 5400 so did not bother trying to call back.
