Just received a call from this number. The girl wanted confirmation that I was under 55 years old. When I said yes, she hung up. Bit weird !! Hope they Don't continue to call, like other people here have had happen !!

This number (07) 5509 5400 called us more than 10x in just less than half an hour and about 20X in a day. Very annoying

How the hell do I get this company to stop calling? they tell me they are an entertainment research co. I said I wasn't interested. I have a six month old and they keep bugging me all flippin day. Lunch, dinner even weekends. They are driving me crazy. They are even hanging up before I get to answer.

The number (07) 5509 5400 is a company by the name of Entertainment Research (Southern Cross Austereo). When you try to call them back there is a recorded message.

If you call Jenny on (07) 3837 1205 (National research Manager for AusStereo as Vance posted above) They remove your number immediately. They buy your number from somewhere and then do market research on it...

075 5095 5400, is a market research company, either employed by, or part of Austereo. Automated calls, with no message, and hangs up when you answer. To stop calls from them, phone (07) 3837 1205 (National research Manager).

You really need to contact Telstra's Unwelcome Calls department (or your provider) - it's quite easy to have callers blocked from a main line, and not real hard to do the same for your mobile
