I utilise caller ID and answer only when I know the caller or call back any messages from a number not in my contacts. I add new numbers to contacts as needed and delete unused. I still have a hard copy of my address book which I use more often than not as my corded home phone [EMF avoider lives here....] has a maximum of sixty contacts which I populate with my most relevant numbers.

Scam call. Didn't pick up. Have had numerous calls from this number in the past.

I have had the same number call me with the same hang up result! Would be interested to know if anyone is under surveillance of any kind. I currently have a workers compensation claim in and around the time I noticed strange cars stopping out the front of my house is around the same time I began receiving these calls. Maybe my paranoia but who knows what dirty tricks these insurance companies get up too.
I have called phone provider and had the number blocked, they were unable to give me any details due to confidentiality.....go figure

(07) 5509 5400 has called my home phone number a few times in the past week, as soon as I answer they hang up. The last call was 5 mins ago. Will let the phone ring from now on

Have called twice this afternoon. I won't answer numbers that come up on my call screener who I don't already know. Keep ringin' ya mongrels you won't get through.

I like answer and then mute the phone and put it back in pocket. If they are going to call me they may as pay for the call. Do it a few times and they usually give up.
