Tired of these Scammers

Premium Group managed to set up a home visit time with spouse over the phone offering this fantastic Free Financial Service saving thousands in tax to benefit our mortgage. I was furious, i have a huge dislike for opportunistic scamming leaches! Spouse tried to cancel and guess what? no answer on the number they phoned spouse on 4 times! So i wait for the arrival. Couldnt tell me what he was doing at my home, only knew that he had an appointment. Annoyed, he phoned his "office". Whilst he explained my disinterest, i interrupted and asked him to ask the office staff the reasons for him being at my home (as he didnt know) He did so with a smirk on his face. I didnt need to know anymore. There was no Rep badge, business card or identification offered. Rude, intrusive and scamming. Beware!!!

Just got a call from Clinton of the Premuim Group trying to tell me how they can help with receiving maximum tax benefits. Whilst cooking dinner tried to tell him from past phone calls we are not interested. As they are sooo persistant and I was still pleasant over the phone at telling him we are not interested he told me I was being VERY RUDE! Excuse me but Clinton who was rude. Lucky I am in a good mood. SUCK ON THIS CLINTON🍼

We've had 5-6 calls from them tonight. When I asked how they got our number (since we're on the DNC register) he said "we get it from a national database, are you interested in our product?". I gather it's a version of the mortgage elimination scams that were doing the rounds about 10 years ago. High pressure telemarketers reeking of a scam.

Accountant - Fiona

This is a scam. One of my clients got a call from these scammers and everything posted so far is how it happened to him. Always trust your accountant for tax advice, nobody else. These people are not qualified and are out to get what they can. Anything that seems too good to be true is. Anyway, no one gets rich on losses!!!

This is how they operate :
They call you up and they'll you about this magnificent way they are going to save you tax and create wealth for you.
The consultant they send to you is there for the sole purpose to ensure that you have the income and assets to fit their criteria and if this is the case the get you in the office in Brisbane with free flights, limo transfers etc.....
Then they basically sell you property that is hard to sell by developers of estates all around the country with the premise that they are a great investment and have a greater rental return than your local market.
They collect a "marketing fee" from the developer between 20 and 60 k , they also get a fee for arranging the finance as well as charging you around 6k for arranging and looking after the deal.
So basically they are selling overvalued property and making huge amounts of profit by duping you into a run of the mill negative gearing arrangement.
If you have recently signed a contract with them, do your homework and you will find that you can most likely buy cheaper and better property in the area.
Remember there is a cooling off period if you are not happy with the contract you can get out of it without penalty.

had a call from these people and went all the way through to book the appointment just out of curiosity to see what they were about. they rave about federal tax breaks that will pay your mortgage... how curious i thought as i should know of such a thing because i am an accountant. notice that they will not give you the name of the tax breaks or benefits because apparently the person who is callingis not qualified however there are thousands she says. there are no tax breaks that are going to pay your mortgage for you, lets get that straight. there are plenty of people out there claiming tax that they may not be entitled to recieve back, and there are plenty of people who have property who are not making money on their properties being rented out who get tax refunds because thier income is reduced by this fact... nb: income is reduced and therefore you get a tax refund. you dummies out their who are raving about your tax refund cheque dont realise that it cost you a great deal more to get that tax refund that what it is worth. be careful with your hard earned cash people. invest it with knowledge. and dont make a decision to buy something from someone who is obviously going to get paid for you to do so.

Open Mind

hi all, just had a FREE home visit from a friendly rep. from premium finance. the chat and spill was pleasant and friendly and after a 'plane delay' she ended up here late but still stayed for quite some time. After saying we would make the free trip from Tassie to brisvegas, to further discuss the way they can enlighten us as to how to use our tax to pay our mortgage and grow our asset base quicker through little known federal gov tax break laws........etc.....etc (as posted quite extensively on this and many other posts being placed on the WWW), we are willing to cop the $195 to listen to their advice in brissie. We have not had the flights booked yet as this only happened yesterday. We had all the nuisance calls from the mobiles listed on this post in the previous days, with the same 'message bank is full' when trying to return the calls but didn't link the dead end mobile calls to the (07) 3811 4890 number until reading this post. since our visit yesterday I have spent around 4 hours reading posts on these guys and researching the company with a little positive feedback but also quite a bit of negative. I am after feedback from anyone who has actually taken the trip to brissie. We are going with an open mind, but have given no guarantees we'll sign up and are not interested in any on the spot commitment whilst there. Is the free flights and accommodation too good to be true??
Any feed back would be great,

I have had nothing but calls from random numbers for the last 2 days. I never answered any and when I tried calling back (on a private number so they dont get anymore of my info) the msgbank states the messagebank is full. Today I had enough and answered one of the calls. Some chick called Sharnie?! From Premium group. How the hell do they get our numbers? I'm on a DNC register. Makes my blood boil. Before she went any further I asked her to take my name off their calling list and the rude cow said NO! and hung up.
here's some of the scammy numbers:
0423 711 336
0411 743 165
0411 700 472
0435 722 614

I had the same thing happen to me Robyn. I was told that they would send a rep around to make sure I was receiving the right tax entitlements. I was given the impression that the government and ATO were contracting this service out to this company so phoned the ATO and they said that I should cancel the appt. I just left a voicemail on the call back number they gave me for The Premium Group which is 1800 685 343. So annoyed. I am also on the do not call register.

Had a call at work this evening from 0423 060 571 calling themselves Premium Wealth Group. Asked where she had got my number from and reply was "I wont keep you long" I then said I am on the DNC Register and will report this unsolicited calling and she hung up. Am about to advise DNC Register so these scamming pests can be dealt with.
