I have been receiving these calls on and off for weeks now. These are the most persistent numbers so far, and these are the dates and times they have called JUST TODAY. Have lodged complaint with the do not call register (again). Silence on end of phone. Have placed on my reject list.

Maybe Maitland Police should look up the reverse phone record - 0435 722 614 optus phone belongs to N. PHam, 27 Queen St Norwood SA, and 0401 260 227 belongs to Pa, Papaliitele Faafili, 35 Pacific Palm CCt. Hoxton Park NSW.

Maitland Police are getting reports of a number of people in the Rutherford area receiving nuisance calls from numbers such as this and others. Most calls hang up within moments of answering. The origin of these calls can not be confirmed but are not believed to be locally based. The motivation of the caller is unknown. It has occurred in widespread locations across Australia and may be overseas based. If you receive a call you can either simply ignore the call or contact Telstra's unwanted call team via HTTP://exchange.telstra.com.au/?p=20768. Maitland Police do not believe they are linked to any local criminal activity.

Same number called my landline this evening a few times waited til i answered then hung up. What the?

I have put several actions in place to identify these creeps, and when I find out I will persecute them to the grave. It's only a matter of time now, keep phoning me Richard Cranium, it's helping me track you! Even the other bogus numbers you are using is helping me!

If you have a iphone or maybe another smart phone you can block numbers. On the Iphone go to recent calls, find the number then press the " i " symbol next to the number then scroll down and press block caller. That's what I done and it worked. Don't think you can do on the home phone though. And Google other smartphone's to find out how to do it on them. Hope that helps.

received 2 calls last night and 2 las night. When answered they hang up and I called back wouldn't answer...
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Had Caller display activated because of several calls to landline lately. 0435 722 614 was the number displayed at 6pm WA Std Time today 1/10/14. No calls to mobile - only landline. Called the number to get "message bank full". Is it someone ringing to see if you are home?? Then maybe doing a break in? Could be going through the phone books.

Keeps calling and hangs up, call back to get msg bank

Last night we received 5 calls from different mobile nos each time i answered the line was silent. I rang each of the nos and a recorded voice advised the message bank was full. I reported it to Telstra who were not able to help and suggested I contact the police. I have not done that yet. The nos are: 0421 497 248; 0411 700 472; 0401 260 227; 0423 711 336 and this one 0435 722 614. I think they are random but why would they? Too much time on their hands?
