got to love the scam calls where they expect you to answer yes or no pfft hung up straight away.. btw people the call centres have a code the shows a local number and gets around it that themdo not call registers are useless things so doesn't stop the pesky scammers and telemarketers there suppose to take your number off there the call lists they have and the silent numbers we all know thats a load of s**t as they keep calling us

What I don't get, is how they can continue to operate on this number (and all the others that I routinely receive spam/hoax/hang up messages from when it's so overwhelmingly obvious that they are fraudulent (or at best, only making nuisance calls). Why do the telcos or authorities not just shut them down?

Calls and Hangs up

Had an attempted call from this number while I was out this afternoon - it was blocked automatically by my new Telstra Call Guardian phone which is set to block all "Private" and "Unavailable" calls without even ringing. Added the number to the blocked list just for good measure.

When I answered the phone there was no response, so I asked “What are you trying to sell me?” And I was hung up on.

Received several call from this number on my mobile. Have "who called" app installed so was warned of spam call and I do not answer. Most of the time they are calls generate from overseas and clone a local call if number, that is why if you do return the call it is disconnected. This cannot be prevent by the do not call register as it applys to within aus generated calls. Best advice is have caller id and an answering machine to monitor calls. If the caller is serious about contacting you the will leave a message. Most of these calls now appear to be on my mobile, not the home land line..

Hubby picked up the phone and they hung up without saying a word.Had a call from them a couple of days ago as well. Have blocked the number so guess they will use another number now.Just so tired of getting calls 24 hours a day.I need some sleep.

The strongly accented woman introduced herself as from "Nationwide Solar Solutions". As soon I said "Oh, yeah" she immediately hung up. So it looks like I've got a new credit card in my name, now?

I’m also on a dnc list yet I’m constantly getting these calls - almost a daily basis now. Last week it was a SA based number. I’ve taken to saying nothing & then screaming down the phone ;) have a nice day now!

These b.........s ring every day around lunchtime, and are making me very angry. It's just about time I called in a favour, and found out who they are. They will then be the ones suffering considerable distress.

Like everyone else we get daily nuisance calls this number and others I can't believe I even got one with ALL numbers the same one day which was so obvious I can't believe they'd even bother! Register Do Not Call doesn't stop them a waste of time,

Just got a call from this number... I have caller ID so didn't answer as I didn't know the number and I have also had other numbers call, I had several calls a few days ago...just rang one after the other...so annoying!

Serial pests as they phone continually. I have them listed as ‘do not answer’ so I never do!
