This person is trying to buy my boat on gumtree at the moment. After putting his number in this site and seeing all the complaints I think I will give him a miss. The email address he is using at the moment is michelletony1975 @ hotmail.com even if he is legitimate this time I don't think I will getting back in contact.

99.9% OF THE TIME IT USUALLY IS.
This is a scam. I had my car on car sales and some one contacted ME with the same bogus story....wanted to surprise his son because he did well at school.
i received email explaing that the money would go into my paypal account onces i made payment to western union for the shipping $1550.
I rang Paypal and they confirmed it was indeed a scam.
PAYPAL SAID, WESTERN UNION IS THERE COMPETITOR AND THEY WOULD NEVER ASK TO DEPOSIT MONEY INTO A COMPETITORS ACCOUNT.

How come this guy has not been caught yet? He's had four goes at trying to scam me, stupid bastard doesn't even get his Bot to check if it's already sent a message to the same number before with a different name...

I work as chef on cruise ship at the moment and I have limited time to surf the internet..+++` She did not leave her phone number but I found this by chance, by typing her name, her current job title, and Singapore on Google, sure enough her almost identical posting was found. She exchange emails a couple of times with me then she stopped writing to me as I was asking her more questions about her reasons for coming to Canada, her personal information, her name of the cruise ship employer, and her initiated request for paypal payment for her rent.

Just sent me a text after advertising on carsales. Using the name Travis. Same story asking me to email him at a gmail account.

A scammer, who sent me two different messages to buy my car. First time a worker in oil & gas company in NZ and the second time a person who wants my car immediately and doesn't have access to his mobile number and bank account.

Used the name David Jones and a gmail address to try to purchase my carsales.com car

Scammer trying to buy my car from carsales. He msg me twice using same number but different names. Names used: Mathew Boyle matt.boyle232 @ gmail.com and Janet Maxwell jason.maxwell2010 @ gmail.com. Both had same story about working in NZ Taranaki Basin...
