Put ur numbet on the fo not call register, as u havent noticed there are other companies which take a direct marketing approach to promote there service or product, its perfectly legal to make these calls, so im sorry u do not like the calls and thats y theres an option there for everyone that doesnt appreviate calls like thats its called the DNC REGISTER... SO stop complaining and call ur service provider and u wont have anymore issues.
and yes its free to the person recieving the service the goveenment pays for it. maybe jack u need a free educational program to learn and increase ur knowledge with things b4 opening ur mouth and as for all ur sooking i have a free psychologist voucher for u lol enjoy
I couldn't hear them very well. They need to speak louder you know? I worked for NHC for two n half years. They don't outsource their telemarketing, they have a call centre in Mulgrave. The calls are all scripted, staff are trained in what do if the person they call says they don't want a hearing test so they change their minds. They like to target pensioners as its FREE money to them from the government every time hearing aids are presribed. Staff in the clinics are under enourmous pressure to keep calling clients until their appointments are confirmed. If a client is a no show, that cluent must be contacted to reschedule, they do not care how many times they call. NHC Management really put the pressure on all staff to deliver. Every staff member has a stats target and everything is monitered by Head Office, right down to the stationery ordered, what time you arrive to the time you leave. Its very draining on the plebs. Soooo glad I'm not there now. Jane Doe must work on another planet! I wish all these telemarketers would stop calling. They are a real pest. Rang me other day said I did not want a National Hearing appointment, would not take no for an answer...I was at work and needed to get off the phone so I just hung up....now ring me back on PRIVATE NUMBER AND STILL NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER so I hang up again and shes calling my name as I hang up..and ringing me at 7pm at night!!!! Perhaps you should learn to spell if you are going to post comments on the net. No wonder you are a telemarketer, you don't have to spell to do that. People should not have to come running to the phone to find a nuisance call. Maybe you should think of a new career path?
By the way, when I feel I need a hearing test, I'll make my own arrangements.

Not only do they keep calling the staff are incredibly rude and arrogant as well. I have a silent number and still get these calls. I am also a shift worker and they constantly disrupt my sleep.
Abuse them and they wonder what they did wrong! Stop calling.
just put any unsolicited calls on block . using . who called me. This number rings and when answered hangs up,need to able to block this number! ----ing annoying Police need to get involved and sh*t this place down. Criminals. If I don't recognise a number I don't answer. I then look it up here and if it shows up as a scam or telemarketing number I block it. I now have a couple of hundred numbers on my blocked list. Simple solution except they then call from a different number so end up with long lists from each pest. On occasion I have been known to accidently answer when I am waiting on a specific call, and I then advise the pest that any further calls will be noted and passed on for legal action, that usually works too. They were calling to book follow up appointment after I had my hearing test done two years ago. Hearing centre calling to confirm next day appointment.
