Not rocket science, I did f*cking answer...it disconnected on me...they called again, it dc'd again! 5 more times of getting calls & sh*t...They shouldn't have my number in first place, bloody buying it from somewhere else! My f*cking phone number to give out, NO ONE ELSES!

Asha, you are full of crap i have called that number you have provided(03) 8554 6100 siz f*cking times in the past three months and i they have told me they will remove my number off the database and yet i still get DAILY calls from (03)8807699 I have legit had enough! Im am not interested in donating money OKAY! so leave me the f*ck alone! also even if i was interested i can't because i am 17 NOT 18 years of age! so stop calling me! Your company should be prosecuted!

I just rang (03) 8554 6100 and asked for my number to be removed, spoke to a very polite person who just asked to confirm the number and said she would remove my number straight away - easy - took less than a mintue.

People be warned that the number they they gave above may very well be given so when you ring them somehow they hack your line racking up debt on your account.

I have called the number listed above (03) 8554 6100) and they said I would not get any more calls. But I am still getting them. How do I stop this. I work full time and its a pain.

Really Asha?? Forgive me if I don't believe you. This is a practice that has been instigated because the "do not ring" campaign is so successful. It is just a way around being stopped from ringing us. Well, for your benefit and that of the other "automated callers" as well as the charities they represent: I USED TO give money, I USED TO listen to what they had to say, I USED TO consider them in whatever way they wanted me to, but NOW I simply hang up in the middle of whatever it is they are trying to tell me, ask me, convince me of. If more of us were to do this and the flow of customers, money, whatever started to dry up, the practice would soon cease.

1) just say NO, saves the charities money with time and the fundraiser does not want to hear the excuses or stories.
2) we are monitored and we have to ask twice (some places more) again all you need is to say NO and again no story or excuses.
3) If you want to be off the list, ask to identify the charity and then asked to be taken off the list. If you don't follow that and not ID the charities, the call will be rescheduled.
4) Most list we need to speak to the person we ask for, so if you want to be taken off the list, make sure you pretend its that person
5) what ever you need ask what is the procedure so you can get it right. They will not offer that information unless asked.

Hope this helps and serves you and saves money for the charities for time wasting and unnecessary calls.

I'm getting these calls now too. About the same time each day.

Picked up the call after ignoring it several times to be "greeted" with "HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO". Promptly hung up and blocked.

They keep calling until you pick up and say no (or yes) so stop ignoring the calls or they just keep coming, take 10 seconds to telthem no. And that's it.... Not rocket science.

Just call 8554 6100 and ask to be removed from their database. I did it just now and they were polite and friendly and instantly deleted my record after confirming my name. Easy as.
Charities do have a role to play in raising funds to provide for less fortunate - they do not know your personal situation and so can't discriminate in their calling. Just be polite and tell them to take you off their list.

I have been receiving non stop calls from a related number (03) 8554 6280, but I noticed this thread had a comment from a Smart Health Australia representative.
Is it possible to be removed by email? I have been receiving calls daily since January, but I cannot take personal calls during work hours (5am to 7pm) & seeing as no message is left, it can't be important enough to answer anyway. Fed up with the phone calls. I make my own donations as I see fit. Please, Asha, or anyone, is there an email to remove my number from your call list?
