I've blocked the number, easy fixed, I had several calls also, I am already on the national do not call register so they are breaking the law.

I have started getting these calls too. I have just blocked them through my mobile. I don't get it - how is this even legal??

The Australian Sales & Marketing Institute has received numerous complaints about SWA. We are saddened that your organisation thinks 'blasting' by telephone actually works. Many other organisations are so much more refined and clever in terms of generating donations. I have been receiving calls from this number claiming to be from my charity "lifeline" the woman is extremely rude and hangs up! How can I get the calls to stop?

I agree being disabled is tough, but your attitude towards the people you are wanting money from is laughable. First you have NO IDEA of any of our current situation. I will not donate over the phone when I have already donated hundreds of dollars elsewhere, only to get a 'guilt trip' from scum like you! pffft.. Grow up.

I got a call today from Smart Health Australia- claiming they were fundraising for Lifeline. Extremely rude woman. Very unprofessional and malice. I wish I could sue for the comments she made to me about my deceased son. Vicious, callous ...............( I just can't think of an appropriate term to describe that woman)

This number calls me daily often more than once, today I answered and TOLD the guy PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME. I hope that's the end of it

they ring all the time if you answer it hangs up - if you ring back there is an engaged signal, I rang the number people have posted here to take number off nd they couldn't even tell me which charity rang me - sorry not necessarily charity but fundraiser??!!

I'm getting calls everyday from this number .no one answers and if you call it back all you get is a beeping noise . very annoying. I stopped answering after the first 2 calls but still they ring daily. over it .

I wish these people would just leave me alone. I am not interested in what they are selling or wanting.

They have got through to me twice and have been extreemly rude puishing their health crap. Told me I had to stop talking and listen to their speech. I am 35. I made life and health insurance plans when I was 18. How insulting is it to be told as a 35 year old that there is a thing called health and life insurance existed and that I should buy their crap.

Aside from being called twice, I have 15 missed called from the deuce bags. I now have a high pressure air horn next to the phone. Just waiting.... Any minute now. 'Oh, you'd like to sell me something I already have, oh my credit card and bank details, sure here they...shazaam!'

Even though they may not be required to do so, charities would be well advised to use the Do Not Call Register

so over this number calling near everyday... If there is no answer then why keep trying...

So what if people "give away" their numbers for raffles or promotions etc. That doesn't give these companies the right to ring and harass people!
I have filed a complaint and asked that this matter be investigated. I am so fed up with the constant calling and refusal to cease calling despite being asked to do so. People have the right to choose who they wish to donate to and shouldn't be subjected to harassment and guilt trips by these nuisance callers. They also don't know peoples individual circumstances so show some respect and decency!
