I too filled in an online survey. Regretting that now. I have received 8 to 10 phone calls daily since. I finally answered and let the woman speak. She is pretty good with her answers when I said it sounded too good to be true that I pay 10 x $49 fortnightly payments and receive $2600 of travel and accommodation. When I mentioned how many times they had been calling she said she did not want me to miss out on being only 1 of 1000 people being offered this deal. She was very insistent on me giving my credit card to secure my membership. I refused saying that I wanted to speak with my husband (yip that old lame excuse). She is calling back and then I can tell her to well you know "leave me alone".

Just picked up call from this number.
Was told that I had won a $2000 voucher that I can use for flights and accomodation. Gale then when on and on to explain how it all works for 20 bloody minutes. What pissed me off was at the end when she told me that I would need to pay a membership fee of nearly $500 a year.
I got so annoyed because from the beginning I told her that I was in a pension and then she wasted my time and still get playing with my pain of not being able to afford basic things as it is.

This number and another 2 Melb numbers call me at least 3 times a day. I do not answer any calls when I don't know who it is. I also filled out some competition or survey on Facebook. Never again ! I am going to block the number.

Just BLOCK the caller. I have learned now. That's the best way to deal with these people.

Some time last year @015 i got a call offering me $2000 holiday either Motel stay or combined airfairs if i join for just 3 payments of $40 which i have 3 years to use. As a sales person my self know all the questions to ask etc and was on the phone a good 15 minutes checking the ins and outs. I was told that i could have the payments out monthly and i needed to say yes that day to have the monthly payments or if i came back later id have to pay the $120 all up front. I did say yes right away, took the phone number down so i could call later etc. I was just this year thinking of where i wanted to go and thought to my self ill call and see what places are available. Once again we spoke about the offer i was given. Now ive lost the details i had to call back but due to some one in my family taking quite ill and back and forth to hospital ive been doing ,i forgot again about this until just a couple of days ago. I still couldnt find the details i lost so tried looking up on line.I called platinum to just now find out that my $2000 holiday offer isnt quite that.I was just told for the very first time that your holiday is discounted you dont get the full $2000 on a holiday. You may get up to 60% and then again later until the $2000 is used with the discounts given I WAS TOLD WHEN I JOINED THAT I COULD SPEND IT ALL ON ONE HOLIDAY,COULD BE MOTEL STAY OR FLIGHTS AS WELL>and now told its also points not $2000 as sutch.ALSO THAT I PAID 5x50 payments out of my card, not 3x $40.IM not happy as I dont work now and was looking forward to arranging a family short stay somewhere as we havnt done so in 15 years sinces kids where tiny.
