iiNet support call: follow up after a technician came out to fix a problem. Caller: this number (02) 9850 0800
once yesterday and tried again twice today telling me they can hook me up with NBN with them easy as I am with the I told them i was still looking into other providers and had not made my mind up as yet. rang me twice and dropped out on answer.
Replying on your internet status . Applies only to TPG customers Used all means to sell NBN TPG is replying to my email about a new service for my internet. TPG support line. Calling back about thr technician running late Following up on a support ticket I lodged to fix a fault on my ADSL. I pretended as I am answering machine then they hang up... Just called me, they blatantly lied saying that if we don't take nbn in April our service will end, however they have to provide ADSL+ for another 18 months after nbn is available in the area.
Also they offered me free upgrade and told me terms and conditions but never mentioned a contract so I asked and they said it was 18 months - currently I'm on month to month. I explained we are only here for another year and don't want a contract and they tried to charge $100 setup fee for month to month and sell me a new modem.
I told them I will wait till April until nbn is in the area.
TPG customer services calling to help with a technical issue with my NBN 🖒 iiNET in response to an application I made Right on. I feel the same way too when they call. Missed 2 x calls today from this number - from the comments, I blocked the number and didn't call them back. I'm not a TPG customer. Very annoying and sounded impatient. Should had email. Safe. TPG calling to organise a line issue for me it's a TPG technical team number They called to try to get me to change over to TPG NBN. They wanted to charge me more than I currently pay for ADSL with my current ISP for a 5MB connection. Insane. Calling me in regard to NBN then when I don't answer leaving a message by singing into the phone, wasting my time, then hanging up.
I did not say my name (which i do when i dont recognise the number). He claimed to be from TPG NBN department. I am with TPG but when he didn't ask if he was speaking with (my name) and said that their system was showing up that my NBN connector box was turned off or disconnected I hung up. This was clearly a scam call because my NBN connector box was on and working perfectly.
