you are incorrect. It is not a scam. It *IS* TPG's switchboard outgoing number.
It is TPG. Rang re upgrade of my current service.
Caller: TPG Customer Service
If you are a TPG Customer this number is helpful as they were calling me back about an issue i had giving me an update.
Kept calling & not leaving message on voicemail. Eventually I called back. Was TPG cold calling on pretence of following up NBN enquiry which of course I had not made. Annoying people desperate for business
Got a call from this number. Actually was TPG calling to inform me the issue I had logged had been fixed. Not sure why people are claiming this to be a spam number tbh unless they are calling to flog products.
TPG calling to advise NBN is now available in my area, have also received email and TXT from a mobile for the same within 24hrs Caller: iiNET
Follow up on technical issue with FTTN issue
This number called at 6. 12 pm i don't answer unknown numbers after 5 pm i get too many calls from all over the world telemarketing. I block them but they just keep coming with different numbers. Caller: TPG
TPG technician calling to assist with connection setup
they rang me the other day and hung up on me when i gave them grief.
rang again just now (went to vm)they got my info from someone because they know i direct debit and ive recently changed accounts, so how did they know that? I do my updates thru My account so why would they ask over the phone if i wanted to proceed with my change.
This number belongs to TPG, returning a phone call to keep us updated on the outage in our area. Not a scam at all.
Says I need to upgrade when I don't. Wasted 20 mints of my time
I called number back and went to main TPG line.
I trust as TPG Calling Caller: (02) 9850 0800
This is a scam! Call TPG directly!
Caller: (02) 9850 0800 showed as 'TPG Sales' on smartphone
Missed Call. Phone showed this number and TPG Sales (smartphones seem to know who the number belongs to).
Rang TPG through their actual contact number to check this number and was told this number was not one of theirs.
Caller left message saying they were iNett and they were calling about the problem i am having. I have never been a customer and will not return the call. Caller: TPG
Calling me regarding a tech issue that was lodged.
Caller: TPG / Internode
TPG call center calling on behalf of Internode to verify if a fault had been resolved.
Just cancelled TPG after shocking customer service, e.g. 20 minutes on the phone and 6 different people after calling to cancel and the last one told me that you can't cancel by phone you have to email cancel @ tpg.com.au but no one else on the phone was authorised to tell me that! Minutes later I get a missed call from this number asking me to call back. TPG are the worst. Do not call this number back.
