I called back number (02) 9850 0800 reached TPG Telecom. Tpg support Called me, heard someone breathing, then they hung up. pathetic. iiNet Fibre Support Team following up an issue with service. I am a customer and my ADSL2+ is now out of contract. They introduced FTTB around the same time the contact was up. It was at that point the calls came over and over again, the first time I listened to what they had to offer which was the FTTB, but the catch was I had to sign up to a 24 month contact. I told them (which was true) I had left a horrible relationship and didn't really have anything to my name and on top of that my place of work is downsizing all the time and anytime I could lose my job, which meant I could not commit to a 24 month contact. The calls stopped for about a month, then they started again and I have been ignoring them so I don't have to explain why I don't want their product. I have resorted to the measure of updating my profile with them and remove all my contact numbers, as it is compulsory to provide a contact number, I've have put down Telstra Support as my phone number so when they call me that number comes up and they get routed to Telstra Support haha. If they call my mobile now, I will make a complaint via the most appropriate avenue. In broken English caller claimed to represent TPG and then tried to hitch me up to NBN. Lots of noise in the background. I said I would not take the call and hung up. Probably genuine but total sh*t for the corporate image. TPG are pests, I'm getting two calls and a SMS each day trying to sell me NBN as my apartment building now has TPG FTTB installed. Called twice, when I answered she could hardly say my name. I want to speak to someone who can speak clear english and Tanya ain't that hard to say! I wanted an email response, is that too much to ask? They called me and hung up when I answered.
I'm not even a customer.
I hate spammers, reported to DNC register.
TPG customer service.
In my case, it was in regards to recent issue of false billing.
It's TPG Why are you calling me & not leaving a message.
I am not a TPG customer.
You are wasting you time & mine as i will not go to TPG.
TPG - I'm a longtime customer (20? years) and I have a minor unresolved issue with them. They keep phoning me and leaving silent 2:30 minute voicemail but no written reply. I will not return blank calls. I need customer service not this boring frustrating pseudo-service. Been unsupported for months now. TPG customer Support. Not a scam I'm a customer Caller English is poor and they asked personal questions. Phishing scam. TPG cold calling. Rang to cancel my month by month ADSL. AFTER BEING TRANSFERRED BETWEEN 5 different operators over 30 mins, was told I would need to email them. I am sick of dealing with overseas call centres. Off to MATE COMMUNICATE for me!! Several calls probably response to online enquiry regarding TPG NBN. I expected email reply. Blocked I got this same number. must be because i called to enquire how much it would take to pay my contract out. lol tpg
