definitely Telstra calls for a reason i was expecting a call

I received 3 calls at 9pm, 9:01 and 9:02 but as I didn't answer it, it hang up. So odd as it's Saturday night. No message left. If it is a scam, how did they get my number?

Was called about 'my NBN order'. Responded with 'Yes, my NBN is working properly' and then 'No, I don't have NBN installed'. Operator became confused, then eventually said 'one moment please' and hung up.
Scam pretending to be telstra IMO.

If it is Telstra, then they don't even know about it. I have had Telstra BLOCK this number to stop them calling me and they did not recognize the number as their own! I am sure it is a scam, there are a lot out there at present pretending to BE Telstra (who would want to)

Received call from this number as well with an accent. Saying that he was from Telstra and it was about our order for new telephone number. Immediately ask for my address. I challenged him to prove he was from telstra and I asked him for the work order number. He hesitated and then told me to call 1800 639 062 which is supposed to be the from office number and then tell them my address. Very suspicious! Telstra Australia don't use 1800 numbers!

Received a call from this number after applying for international roaming, wanted personal details but after starting to question the validity of the call and insisting to speak with a manager/supervisor I was told they were in a meeting.
Ended the phone call and tried to call back later with the same response as other comments.
Called local Telstra shop and activated int. roaming and they also said they had never heard of this number.
SCAM

Missed call, tryed to call, number disconnected, scam.

This number rang my 8yr olds phone. She only has mum and dad and immediate family no's for emergency's. these scammers are dangerous. Nothing is safe anymore.

It IS a scam. I have had calls from this number to both landline and mobile this week, many many times. Each time claiming to be Telstra and trying to get my private information. I have also phoned Telstra and checked, and they confirm it is NOT a Telstra call, though it is set up to appear like one. Definitely another scam so warn your friends and the elderly not to be fooled....

Missed a call from this number on home & mobile, cannot connect to call back & pretty angry as they rang at 6am & woke the children

Same as above. Received a call, only signed up to Telstra yesterday missed it, tried to call back - number disconnected.

Answered call after having new Telstra service installed, claimed to be telstra then asked for information that they shouldnt require. I questioned them and they got pretty short, sharp and shiney with me. Concluded phone call by telling me that I will received a text with details - however nothing arrived. Glad I did not submitt details. Doubt this was Telstra.

Claim to be Telstra but no record of call when you ring Telstra. Pretty dodgy really like most things to do with Telstra these days.

Tried to return a call, not a valid number. Very odd.
