I think you are right it is Virgin Credit card funded by Citibank...so what I did In the passed when they called listened to them and then said yes the amount that I would like and gave the a stupid figure of like $20 k knowing full well that I would not get it as I don't meet the income details ...I know it is really mean but it did work and they haven't called me back hahahhahaha... I didn't actually submit an app so that is one way .

Ring me once a day until I pay my bill which is on time. Keep asking me to make an extra payment.
Stopped answering and now they leave silent messages.
I get an email telling me when my bill is due, I pay it before the due date. Leave me the f$&k alone Virgin Money!

Despite the bad reviews here I will say this is a totally legit number of Citibanks. Maybe a few of their departments go through the same caller id, but I get this number when they are calling to ensure I know I have a payment due and they also usually waive a late fee for me when they call me, which has been almost every month. It's actually pretty good customer service on their behalf I think.

Maybe their sales division also ids under this number?

It's citibank.

These are scammers! We have no Citibank accounts/cards or Suncorp - I get about 4 calls a day from them. U call back the # and it is not connected. I have called Suncorp and they dont know the # at all. Scam. Do not give them any personal details.

Got a call from this number, answered it but they had already hung up. I don't have a Citibank account or card, or a Suncorp credit card so no idea why they are ringing me.

This mob are a bunch of clowns. I have paid more than the minimum payment (two weeks before the due date) and they still ring and ask me when i will make the minimum payment. They are factually incorrect, yet still ring and whinge about a payment that is not due. What a bunch of idiots. Next time please check my payment history before calling. Oh, and never ring them out of courtesy it will probably be a waste on time and effort on your part. Citibank are d*ckheads.

Yep, Citibank

Yet again another pathetic round of them going...yes yes...Ok, OK, I'll make the note. Then the next day, another 4 calls about the same errors they were calling about yesterday. LOSERS. The sooner I get rid of Citibank the better. WORST institution I've ever dealt with. They are such idiots and their system is so ridiculous they are not even collecting from live balances but automatic statements only, which, ofcourse, don't tell any story about fraud charges and errors. This spastic keeps telling me the minimum monthly repayment on my credit card is $1,500 per month.... HUNh? CITIBANK is an absolute joke. Can stand them

Yeah. The muppets keep calling me 2 or 3 times a day to arrange payment of $14.5k of fraud that I didn't spend. All stat decs, forms, police this and that all submitted months ago, they're collections dept know that it's a fraud reversal that will be reversed again at EOM ( so the letter says ) but they're incapable of thinking...hmm maybe we shouldn't call this guy everyday asking him to pay for charges that are under fraud investgation. I even arranged for the retailer footage to be delivered to the police ( 4 months ago ) . CItibank is defeinitely the WORST service I have ever encountered. I absolutely do not recommend CITIBANK ever. High rates, even higher fees, and zero service. They refuse to call from australia.... sorry, you'll have to speak to our O/S call centre...there you'll find ppl from a different country , language and culture who have no idea how to communicate with or handle problems in relation to Australian customers. Pathetic Citibank, You SUCK !!!

Extract from Australian Privacy Principle 2, anonymity and pseudonymity:
2.1 Individuals must have the option of not identifying themselves, or of using a pseudonym, when dealing with an APP entity in relation to a particular matter.
Then move on to APP8, Cross-border disclosure.
Ask for details of their arrangements that they believe make them compliant with Australian law. Then ask them for a call back number so you can call them back at their dinner time.

Exactly the conversation I have with them. I wonder if the Privacy Principles have been considered here? I did not think personal information was allowed to be able to be accessed offshore? May be one way to kill off this issue. I think I'll ask some questions via APRA.
