scammer representing law firm seeking person involved in an accident 2 years ago. No such accident occurred. Tried calling number back but get busy tone.

These are Indian/Pakistani scammers claiming to be from accident investigation wanting to talk about your car accident and claim.

I don't know why I bother answering calls that aren't in my contacts any more.
Actually, I do, I run a business and don't want to miss potential work.
These people should burn.

I just yelled very loudly in the phone YOU ARE A LIAR so I am glad it is a LAWYER SCAM

Why aren't these nuisances prosecuted?

12 Feb 2017 @ 11.30am: I just received a phone call from an Indian sounding woman by the name of 'Aleena'. She stated she received notification that someone in my household had been involved in a motor vehicle accident. She also stated she had the plate number (which i thought was odd!) I asked her what the plate number was and she stated she doesn't know....i started to challenge her, "but you just advised me you DID have the plate number!" she said, "NO, No Miss (surname), i meant i have your phone number and your address - which is *********, is that correct Miss (surname.) I didn't confirm or deny asking, "Sorry, which company are you working for?" She replied, "For AC&H Lawyers in Sydney....we are a legal company. We have been notified from the Road Department (!!) that someone ran into the back of your car. Is this correct?" I then challenged, "I'm aware and i guess i should make you aware, there is NO AC&H Lawyers in Sydney and what you're doing is a scam - the Federal and State Police advise the general public all the time about your scams....." No sooner had i said that, she hung up!

They rang through twice to my work place and hung when the phone was answered.

I love these calls...
I told them they had contacted the condom puncture repair service and we don't have accidents...

They ring our switchboard number one day a week at random times (approx 40-50 times in a row) and usually hang up when we answer. We did have one incident where they claimed someone had had an accident. We don't answer now.

I also received a call from this number this morning asking if a member of this household had been in motor vehicle accident in last 2 years. I said no several times, he then called me a liar! Surprisingly then he apologised and quickly hung up before i had a chance to hang up on him! I would like to know how he got our number as it's private/unlisted!

Indian said he was from accident department, I told him that if I catch him it won't be an accident. He hung up.

Such an awful scam! My caller made it sound as if someone in the family had recently had a car accident, and even though I knew it was a scam it was quite upsetting.

I knew it was a con from the start , i was expecting another gobsh*te scammer to ring , so with my prepared 'bollacks made up answers' , i kept her on the phone and wasted half an hour of her time. SUCH FUN as Miranda would say. NEXT !

Indian man(mallyalli accent, south india) named John, called my office number said he was given this contact number to call as 'someone" had been in a car accident over the last 2yrs. He asked me if it was me and I said no. Told him he probably had the wrong no. I hung up. He calls again a few hours later, saying the same thing, I passed it to my manager as coincidentally she had been a witness to a car accident. However when she spoke to him and started grilling him, asking him the name of the client adn where the accident took place, where his company was located and the name of his company website he finally hung up. Bloody Scammers. Cant believe they are using this way to scare people

Don't bother answering. My phone is unlisted and these people still managed to get hold of it. Disgusting.

I got a call from this number about a week ago, claiming to need to supply info to me regarding NBN in our suburb, and what I needed to do. I didnt' talk to them. Just got another call from this same number, but didn't answer. I don't know if it's a scam or not.

I just copped her the Indian chick to I kept asking her where are you from - she kept saying ACH Lawyers - I told her she should be ashamed of herself trying to rip people off -get lost and don't ring here ever again!! kept asking me if I have ever had a car lately????

scam scam. they hung up when I started asking for their address. That's twice this week. Another one going around claiming to be from Taxation

I just had them call me. Claimed they were from ACH Lawyers 231 Adelaide Terrace Perth WA. except the woman pronounced it "Port" She also gave me the number (08) 9467 4216 which has one too many digits.
