I have caller ID on my phone and don't know any one with 02 code so I leave it ringing. Even though it has gone to messages they never leave one. So over and done with quickly. I think it's appalling that we have to put up with such rogues, interrupting what we may be doing just to rush to the phone or like a lot of businesses who need to answer yet are loosing down time on this. On top of that the poor recipients that part with money.There must be something the government can do.

Indian called and said he was from accident claims australia said someone from this house was in an accident.. I was like wtf who what are you even on about he said it again and I said who no answer he then said ok bye I said no don't fn call me and say something like this then hang up explain to me what you are on about.. then he hangs up haha fool!!

Scam caller. Same as reported below. Hung up when we said we'd transfer the call to the police!,,

Them:(Long wait...) (Beep), oh um hello I'm calling from accident investigation department
Me: (Hung up)

BEWARE!!! Scam call about an accident that has occurred in past year. Claimed to be 'Accident Investigation Officer' from a legal firm. When I continually asked the name of the legal firm, caller did not answer. I have not had an accident in past year!

Just received a call from these guys, clearly on a dailler system. Claim to be from Sydney Claims - a lawyers.
told me got our business number from a survey conducted in W.A on car accidents.. Funny thing we are a Sydney based company. IDIOTS

I feel sorry for all the older ladies and gents that fall for this scam

Same as many other posts here. Caller was a politely spoken female with a subcontinental accent. Quite a bit of office or call-centre noise in the background. Caller abruptly terminated the call after several questions from me.

Also scammer asking about car accident within the last year

Yep called our business about 50 times in an hour. We told them clearly we know its a scam so asked to stop harassing us as we are working yet they keep calling, dont know why as they are wasting time.

A girl rang from this number today, asking about an accident in the last 12 months. Saying I was not at fault. I asked her which accident she kept saying I was not at fault. I said which accident i have had six and she hung up. said this before and they get confused and dont know what to answer back

brand rang from ctc lawyers quizzed him as deftly as i could tried to record him but he cottoned on moron

Indian guy named 'Paul' asking if we have had anyone involved in a car accident. Why is it so hard to do something about scams like these? How is it possible they can show an Australian number without leaving a tracking trace of some sort?? I just don't believe that it is impossible to do something about this in today's digital age. I personally won't fall for things like that, I just feel harassed by these people. And I feel sorry for people who's hard earned money has been STOLEN by those scumbags.

Scammers - Claim to be from accident helpline. Told them not to call again!

Calling from 'Accident investigation' wanting to speak to the person involved in the accident on this number. Hung up when I asked who they were.

Called business number to talk to someone who had been involved in an accident in the last 2 years, couldn't give me a name, told him he was full of s**t and he hung up. Indian accident.

Just had same call. I couldn't understand him & just kept saying "I don't understand you, what do you want". He hung up! Lol. Where can we report this?
