This number calls me everyday but I never get a chance to answer it, I have now blocked the number and I’m starting to get really annoyed by all these calls from random numbers I receive several times a day despite being on the do not call register (I’m starting to think that could actually be the reason I’m getting these calls!)

Just got an identical call and had the same thought. I hung up immediately as I was not going to let him/them record my voice saying "yes" to any question.

Caller: Someone from Adelaide, (08) 7200 4630

He said he was doing a survey and asked if I thought Melbourne was the best city to live in, then he asked if I belonged to two age brackets, when I said no, he just hung up. He had a thick Indian accent. I just hope it isn’t one of those scans where they get you to answer yes to something and then use your voice to transfer your mobile to another provider, then get access to your banking. This was today.

Caller: Two calls within 10 mins saying they were from Melbourne Direct

Hi I'm ......from Melbourne Direct doing a survey about working people in Melbourne.....
I asked them not to call again and the second time I told her that I'd already told you not to call

claiming to be doing a survey and asked if melbourne was a great place to live. - indian accent and noisy call centre sounds in the background

Called with pretext of survey. First question was if I thought Melbourne was the best place to live.

Said they were doing a survey of people living in Melbourne, Australia. Do I think Melbourne is the best city in the world yes or now. Did not allow him to ask any more. He kept talking but I hung up. Definitely scammer.

I missed the call, and a message was left starting with some funky music then some guy saying "hello, hello"... I called back but number not connected

Called my mobile, I called back and recorded message said the number had been disconnected. Not sure how they do that...

Something about my daughter and money. Couldn't understand him (noisy) but clearly not genuine. Told him to call back later. He won't.

Called telling me they were from Lifestyle Direct and wanted to do a survey. Did not get angry with them to keep them on the phone as long as possible.
Could not tell me how they got my number. Refused to tell me their local address (in "South of Melbourne" apparently - which to me puts them in the middle of the bay) or their web site, or anything about the company. They just wanted me to say my name and a few other things... They gave up in frustration.

We will be flooding this number and every number associated with this scam and we will shut these bastarda down PROMETHEUS IS HERE.

Indian guy asked me questions about retirement, then asked if I owned my own home or rented. I replied rent which ended the call. I assume it was a sales call.

I'm not even a business ... nor do I have a landline ... I just ignore any calls from numbers I don't recognise .. if they don't leave a message fine ...

This number continues to call me despite my asking them to take me off their caller list. So annoying.

Put hold music on first, then said they were calling from some lifestyle place and had a one minute survey about people in the work force. I said I don't consent to doing this survey and hung up... Kinda wish I'd stayed on to see how far I could've got them to go on their scam!
