i have had at least 25 calls from these people in the last week, I haven't answered the last few. they asked me if I had a business, said No this is a private residence, they said have u ever had a business or your husband, father, uncle ever had a business, I said NO. they said ok I will give you an ABN to use so you can get the business corporate telephone rates. so they gave me an ABN number of someone else's to use, and said if Telstra ring, quote the ABN No. Crooks!!!!

Indeed the number (08) 7200 4634 is from Xoom Telecom and when I called to inform the manage about a rule telecommunicator, he promised he will find out who that is and penalize him for that. He mentioned that we not receive a call like that again so thank you for that!

I answered the phone and this guys says 'Hi it's Ricky, how's it going?'. I say 'Sorry, who's Ricky?'. He says 'Oh man, get lost!' and hangs up on me. I kinda felt sorry for him.

Politely told them not interested and hung up. Rang back, very abusively asked why I hung up on her.Told her not with Telstra so how can she reduce my Telstra bill, then SHE hung up on me!

Calls up asking to speak to the owner of the business, surely you can at least google a name beforehand

I can not believe that scam watch cant shut the number down. Who cares if they have to keep shutting them down at least they look like they are doing something. Had Sandra Wilson ID # 102SW on the phone will not take no for an answer and says she is from Telstra (don't think so). Leave us all alone would be great. Hung up on them and then they phone back and back about 6 times.
Sure could use a something to stop them.

Ask for the owner of the business. I tell him I am. Tells me about the line and then asks for the person responsible for making decisions. owner... idiot, obviously not listening.

They ring for business owner and when you say N/A they go off yelling and
name calling. Extremely rude and abusive

Telemarketer - I now keep an air horn by the phone and give it a 30 second blast

polotel annoying bastards claiming I have an overdue bill when they never gave me an invoice. I fell for their scam and gave a verbal agreement but my old phone company told me they transferred me back so it's all goods now. but they warned me to never accept calls from them again. this app is so handy, blocked their number.

I just had a hang up call from this mob. My business landline diverts to my mobile and when I went back through the logs, I was amazed to see that they call nearly every day. I like the idea of saying that I will get the manager and putting the phone down to waste their time.

Had a phone call from them and I told him we weren't interested in changing from Telstra, he then told me that nothing changes and we will just recieve the discount. So I asked him will we still get billed by Telstra and he said no. I told him a second time I wasn't interested and hung up on him. Then the douchnozzle rings back again and keeps harping on with the same crap. Hung up on him again and added him to blocked number list.

We divert all inter-state calls to message bank, so these people just hang up. If a genuine call comes in they will always leave a message.

Yeah don't waste your effort or your equipment. See if you can get an auto-reject for their number.

A guy who didn't introduce himself, just asks if I am the owner of the business. I said I wasn't and asked what it was regarding and he hung up before I finished speaking .... annoying people just wasting valuable time!!!
