Insurance scam asked if ihad been in an accident and when questioned hung up

Another scam call. This one to my mobile. Not for the first time. Thanks for posting the comments. I’ve blocked the number.

I agreed. I then told him I ran that bastard over because he got my dog pregnant.

scammer - called saying the got my information because I was involved in a motor vehicle accident 2 years ago. When I said I haven't been involved in any...he said maybe it was someone in the family or a work collegue..hahah

Scam. Knew my name when I asked... said I had an accident, which I didn’t. Fishing for personal information I’d wager. If you say you had an accident will move onto ‘verifying your details’ where they create a file of your details to use in the future... scam written all over it, thank goodness sites like this exist!

Got a call from this number a week ago Ignored it as didn’t recognize the number, checked this sight saw it’s a scam blocked the caller so they couldn’t call back, bugger me they rang again today on the same number...blocked again. How do they get through if you have blocked the number. Such pests!!!

Indian woman from legal assist asked if I'd been in an accident in past 3 years. Wanted to help me gain compensation. Told her to wait while I fetched a hearing aid. I don't wear one I just wanted to get a tape recorder. Told her I didn't drive she said doesnt matter that I could have been hit by a car or been a passenger. I kept her going for awhile then age asked if anyone else in the family had an accident. She eventually gave up n thanked me for my time. I think they're hoping to get someone who thinks they'll get something for nothing.

Said he was from "legal Assist" about my crash in the last two years and wanted details. I said that he rang me so he must have the details. Said he was just told to ring. When I asked who told him to ring said the legal department. Told him that if it is not a scam he could go to the "legal department" of "Legal Assist" and get his information from them as they obviously knew more than me. He claimed not a scam and me, a family member of friend had a crash in the last 2 years. Told him that as they obviously know more about it than me he had better go back to his imaginary man and get it. Was told "don't be like that it might be worth a lot or you could lose a lot." I told him that if he wants to try a scam he had to do much better than that and have his story straight and be able to give at least some basics of what he wanted people to believe. He just said "bitch" and hung up. FOURTH time I have had this same mob trying this same scam!!!!!!!!

Some bloke who could barely speak English claiming that I'd had a car accident. Quite pathetic really.

Received a call from this number, let it ring, no voicemail left. Looked up on here and saw they are scammers. Number now blocked.

SCAM - female with Indian accent asking about a recent car accident

claimed to be from "Legal Assist" funny thing is i have no legal issues. scammers.6

Indian gentleman called today advising: "I am from Legal Assist and your number was used in a recent motor vehicle incident."

I said: "no I don't think so" and the gentleman hung up.

I got a phone call from the guy. Asking me that "Is that true that you are in the car accident last year?", after i heard that i hung up, right away. I did not own any car.
