A man called on this number regarding a vehicle accident I was supposedly involved in within the last 2yrs. It was supposedly about compensation for injury. Told him he had the wrong guy, and he hung up.

Scammers .. was an Asian man who said he was from a solicitor then said I had a car accident.

Calling to claim that they have been informed that I have been in a motor vehicle in the last two years. Then proceed to ask me when I had the accident.
After a few back and forward, she old me that her company works with lawyers to try to get compensation. After I told her that if I had been in accident, I would probably go down legal actions with my own insurers. Then she hung up.

MASSIVE SCAM!
Told me they were calling about an accident I was in. When I told them I’ve never been in an accident I was told that someone had reported me. Asked for details they couldn’t provide and hung up

simple truth i now live by ...if i dont know a number .i never ever f*cking answer it ...put all numbers in a silent ring folder im up to 20 such numbers at moment at least now i never hear them ring and if its a new number i dont know ...i add them to the spam folder with silent activated as ring tone dont hear them f*ck them

Asian woman from ‘legal assist’ saying I’d had an accident recently and when I said no she said sorry wrong number. I got in with ‘f$)k off’ before she hung up

I answered yes, then I went Oh actually it was over 4 years ago! and they hung up
I left my number for them to call back - can't wait to see if they do so I can grill them! Grrr...sick of scammers

Sounds like they are having a busy day, as I too had two missed calls from this number. Now adding it to my block list.

these people are relentless calling from different numbers I get at least 1 call a week from a different number telling me I was in a n accident. Decided this time to put them onto my "lawyer" (work mate) that was sat next to me. they hung up very quickly. BLOCK THESE FOOLS

An Indian call service as you can here alot of talking going on in the background, Stated i had an accident in the last two years which was incorrect. I started to give her some abuse to which this Indian women preceded to abuse me. Definite scam. Legal assist being run from an Indian call centre. This is pathetic our so called telcos could put a stop to this if they wanted

The usual scam about we've heard you had an accident over the last two years. I haven't. They got an obscenity shouted down the phone line as their reward for choosing my number to scam.

Had a few calls from the number 0488 863 226 over the last couple of days, but they never left a message so i didn't reply. Today they called my mobile at work, so I answered, a strong accent on the other end maybe Indian.
I found out he was calling from "legal assist", I had to get him to spell it because I couldn't understand him. (first dead giveaway).

Second was asking about a recent accident, when I stopped him and asked what information do you have? He started telling me about a website, legal assist dot com dot uk, that's when i told him he was a scammer and added some choice words and hung up. Blocked the number.
