unknown number, I don't usually answer when I don't know number, but they hung up

Just received a call from this number saying they were from Road Care and that I'd had an accident in the last 12 months which I haven't. My husband received a similar call last year so I was ready for them and hung up on him. He sounded British and there seemed to be a bit of a delay. Disturbing that he knew my name though.

Told me I had been in an accident and requested bank details. I said no so they hangover.

Just called but its a unknown number so I didnt answer. If it is important they will leave a message and if its important illcall back but since they didnt ,first thing i do is go to reverse callback and tada blocked no mess no fuss

Let ring out. Called back automatic message saying ' Hello you have been contacted by road care U.K. Don't worry we will call you back later today' scammers

Got a call today saying that I have been in a car accident a while ago. Did NOT want to say what company she was calling from. New my first name and obviously my phone number but that's all. Said I'd never had an accident and she hung up!!! Definantly a scam!! BEWARE!!

Rings and then just hangs up when answer

Same deal - told me I'd had a minor accident & he was working for the other parties insurance and wanted to send me a cheque. He wanted me to confirm the date of the supposed "minor accident" - I called him some names and hung up and reported to Scamwatch - not that it does any good

They cold called me on my mobile number, and, what sounded like a man with an Indian-ish accent, said they were calling because I'd been involved in a traffic accident in the last 12 months. I said I had not been involved in any type of accident in the last 12 months, and they apologised and hung up.

Sounds very dodgy. I blocked the number on my phone.

Same as everybody else accept when I answered they just hung up ! WHY Do people do this ??

Same as the others - British accent and claimed I was in an accident. I asked him were he got my number and he asked me my name, which I refused to give him - he didn't even know my name. He quickly apologised and said he would remove the number from their database and hung up. Yet another number blocked and reported as spam (scam).

Just had a missed call from this number I called it back didn't even finish ringing once when it was cut off and taken to a voice recording something about uk is all I got and if I'd like a call back press 1

got a call today 11.40am 20/6/17 and also 16/6/17 1.36pm to say i was in a major accident. I did not answer todays, when i called the number you can elect to be removed from the call register and go on the do not call list. If I get charged for the calls someone will pay. No idea how they got my info. Super annoyng
