I had a call today with the same spiel - if I had been in an accident - I called back as well and there was no answer!!

received call from woman saying she's from road care in regards to a roadside accident I was involved in, in the past 12 months and that I was entitled to funds.

Had a call from 0488 827 896 (missed call, no message left) when you return the call you go straight to a message saying "you have had a call from Road K UK and not to worry, we call you back in the next couple of days or you can press a number to have this removed"

Just had a call from an accented male asking if I had been in a car accident in the last few months, then past 12 months, or had someone else been driving my car. I said no, then asked how they got my name, and they hung up.

This number and another called me. The English sounding girl refused to say who she was calling on behalf of. Said that it would be a breach of privacy. Red flag 1.
She attempted to try and trick me into admitting to being someone I wasn't. Red flag 2...
I pushed her for the name of the company she was calling on behalf of. Again she said it was a private matter and couldn't say. Red flag 3...
She hung up then I get a call from my realestate agent asking me to call some number. When I called it there was no answer.
It was all to coincidental that my estate agent would be contacted to try and find out information about me and asked them to pass a message on to me to call them.
I don't know who this bunch is but it's getting creepy now and I'm feeling like I'm being stalked.
Be careful people. They are sly and underhanded.

They claimed I was entitled to between 20 and 50k because I was not in the wrong and it was the excess money from the money claimed from the person in the wrong. Got a call from 0488 827 896 at 921am on the 7/7/2017 asked if I had been involved in a road accident recently and report of the accident had been received by Road Care. I asked the person to elaborate on the accident, (where did the accident occur, when did the accident happen, whom or what I had been in an accident with and without answering the person hung up on me.

Same here said I was involved in a traffic accident I asked for an exact date and they hung up would not answer when I called back 07/07/17

Just had a call from this number - man with a South African-ish sounding accent said he was from Road Watch and, yes, said it was in relation to a recent motor vehicle accident. I said I hadn't been involved in any but was aware of similar calls being connected to a scam (My husband received one a couple months ago). He asked if I was accusing him of trying to scam me - I said "Indeed I am". He said "for trying to do my job you're accusing me of scamming you". I wished him better luck next time and bid him good day. LOL.

Started with me having had a vehicle accident in last 6 months. Not that I'd had but I asked for more detail as I have been the contact for work vehicle incidents. Then it went to the last 12 months. Yep, a dupe !!

Scam - "Patrick" with an Indian accident said they were from Road Care and had money outstanding to me from an accident quite some time ago. when i asked why they weren't calling my insurer, they hung up.

My daughter has been receiving these calls approx. every 6 weeks. Always the same car accident spiel.

Got a call today, they know my name and address. Got them to confirm who they were 3 times. Roadcare. I have been waiting for an insurance call (minor accident) so I asked a few more questions. They couldn't tell me when it happened or what car I drove.

I have had a hand full of these calls on my mobile and I have had a gut full of it.
Last time they called - I abruptly told them to stop f*cken calling me or I will call the police. If I get a call again, I will.
Sick of these bloody scammers!! Grrr..
