Just had a call from this number, I now wish I'd not hung up on here and given them some BS bank account but I was worried about these other rumours of them capturing your voice for voice recognition scam with other places.

This phone number has phoned me 3 times in 3 days and when I answer it is disconnected, maybe Telstra has blocked them. Very annoying thought as this is my business phone number. 27 July 2017

Exactly the same as the above comments. "Mark Anderson from Road care" about a car accident. He didn't get to the part of asking for bank details.

Just got a phone call from them roadcare make UK I had already heard about this scam so when they said I was in a accident last year I told them I don't have a licence so that's not possible. He then repeats my first name and one of my middle names to see if he got the right person and again I lie and say know that's not my name he then apologies and hung up!

Same thing. Asked if I had been in an accident a while ago, I said no and she hung up tried to ring back no reply

I constantly get ph calls from 0488 827 896 but as soon as I say hello they hang up I'm getting sick of it would like to know from others what I can do. I just tried to ring back that number and was told that I couldn't connect to hfrom my ph. Please help with any suggestions to get this number to stop ringing me. Thank u

I asked for the office address and land line number three time and then she hung up on me.

Just had the same 'road care' call. I guy with an indian accent in a loud call centre calling about an accident I was recently in. Told him I hadn't been in one and he back paddled with 'Oh we must have the details wrong'. I suppose at least he was a polite scammer? lol Husband WAS in a minor accident recently... thought at first they must be trying to get him. My first stop was this site to see what popped up, colour me unsurprised!

A man was telling me that I was involved in a car accident?? The truth is I don't own a car and don't drive. SCAM!

Time to disconnect this number I think....... Surely someone knows who to do that? I know there would be many people very grateful including me........

A guy rang my wife number and asked about her recent accident. Said he was from Road Care. My wife has just got home from a life threatening operation and she gets this sh*t... I took over the call and abused this prick and he hung up! SCAMMER KEEP AWAY!

Sounds like a scam so i will block the number. Always suspicious if no message left. The press 1 to remove from our list might trigger a call charge so DON'T.

Had a call from this number when I answered they hung up

an indian lady spoke first then transferred me to an indian male. said they were from Roadcare asking about a car accident, I had just had an accident and they knew my address and other information about me. they were going to send me a cheque for $20-50K for compensation on my accident. they were going to ring back to confirm details.

Got a call from an Asian lady, that knew just my first name. Asking about a traffic accident I had been in awhile back. I hung up on her!!! "Big Scam" Why can't the gavernment do something to stop these people, it's so wrong!!! Cheers

just had an argument with the bloke, told him it was a scam and GOD is watching, bloody wanker hung up???? He was very sure this was not a scam and well - YOURA d*ckHEAD MATE.
