yes I got the same sms asking for a code I sent code through only cos I was setting up my paypal account but turned out this tom foster 34 wanted me to go to western union to transfere money to him for shipping for a item he was buying from me on gum tree...
I rang paypal and they told me its a scam dnt reply iv emaild paypal all of his emails and hopefully it will stop
but I am still getting threatening emails now grrr he is in china his name real name is Qiuchen Gai no 9 Xinghuo Road CITY . Jiangsu Zip Code 210061 China

It's the ebay official number for secondary authentification

This is a scam. I got a message on my mobile to enter a code number on PayPal website. I've never even use PayPal. Beware!!!!

They sent me 3 text messages, even though I asked them to stop.. They wanted me to enter a code on a Paypal website.
I informed them that I was registered with the "Do not call register" but they sent me another text whenever I responded to their one.

Blank text message appeared on my iphone messages app when I sent a text to another number. Time stamp 7.58am. Turned phone off and then on again message time stamp from this number changed to 9.22am which is when I restarted phone. Tried calling number and I get notification that it is disconnected.

This mobile phone number wants to access someone credit by linking to their account. Be careful. It.s about time someone in the law enforcement catch this person who owned this number miraging under Microsoft account or PIN

This number gave me a code number to enter into the Pay Pal website. Suspect a scam and will not comply.
