Caller: 0450 821 320
I called back number 0450 821 320 reached voice mail but did not say for what company. Some investment trading scam Said they were an online currency investment company.
When l said not interested, and after more dialog, they said l had been pranked and it was a radio station and ld won $1000,,then they hung up.
Keeps calling. Call back just goes to answering service. They’ve rung 3 times yesterday and have started up again this morning. I don’t answer calls from unknown numbers and I usually block after the first or second call if they don’t leave a message. Bye bye cold caller. Piss off. Called twice in the last week. Both callers males with Australian accents.
First guy said “gidday mate, I’m calling about online forex trading, you heard about that”
Me “not for me thanks but good luck”
He ended the called politely.
Second call bloke said “hey gidday you spoke with my colleague about 9 months ago about online share trading, do you remember that”
Me “na bro, I wouldn’t have. You’ve been given a dude call list”
Him “I must have, dodgy buggers, no worries”
Decent enough although not completely honest guys cold calling trying to sell some sort of online trading platform.
Have blocked to hopefully not get called again
Just persistent garbage scam and listed as such by Telstra Caller: 0450 821 320
Had to block the number
Another dodgy scammer. Block this number or do what I do: let them go through to your voice mail so it costs them a call. They never a leave a message but at least it costs them. Part of an ongoing scam across numerous phone calls and texts claiming to be after someone called Peter Boyle. Caller: Currency Trading scammer
When I advised them very politely that I was not interested and also that I was on the “ do not call” register she became very rude and said “ well obviously it’s not working cause I called you”
They need to be shut down
If they were a genuine business they wouldn't hang up when you answer their call. The government should ban cold calling. Every time we answer their call they hang up without saying anything. The government should pass laws to abolish marketing by phone, text and email and prosecute people and companies that do so. The government should set up a special website similar to Yellow Pages and group companies, by occupation and/or services that have been licenced to provide each occupation or service. Then consumers can contact them rather than the other way around. Trading program scam Some scam number they hung up on me too. Caller: Gary
Received a call from this number 28 Aug. 2019. A guy with an Australian accent said, ‘This is Gary from D-market.’ I said ‘I don’t know of D-market.’ He muttered something and ended the call. If it’s a marketer or some such, at least he’s not very persistent!
Some crap about investing
