Claimed to be from the Australian Institute of Research (they don't exist), asking about financial information to see if I was eligible for tax reduction. I suspect this is likely to lead to other scam calls or loss of critical banking information.

Same experience. Australian institute of research. Older gentleman asked if i was eligible for tax rebates if I was younger than 57.

Also claiming to be from Australian Institute of research which doesn’t exist. They’ve been calling me from different numbers 3x a day for a week and usually hang up when I answer. This time she didn’t and was so rude when I said I didn’t have time. Another number to block.
