Caller: Australian Information Statistics

They said they were a statistics company offering information but what they were actually offering is to sell investment products using existing tax laws. I offered for her to talk to my financial advisor to review the info but she declined.

This number keeps calling me and wont leave a message. I tried calling it from a landline and it says the person is unavailable but if you call from a mobile the number rings then goes to a send your number message! Feels like a scam!!!

I called back the number 0450 656 399 and reached vm that did not mention the company name

Hung up when I answered the phone, so I blocked them

I didnt answer this call but I am going to block them now after reading the comments about this number. How is it they get out numbers it's disturbing

Missed a call from 0450 656 399, tried to call them back multiple times but only ever got voicemail, did not say who it was. Also I answered one call from this number but as soon as I answered it hung up. My Samsung phone detected the call as possible spam but doesn't say who or what.

Got a call from 0450 656 399 - I did't answer it but called back anonymously. It then went straight to voicemail. I have blocked the number after reading the previous message. Thank you for leaving the message. Tired of scammers.

Caller claimed to be from The Australian Institute of Research

Called me multiple times over the last few days and didn't leave a message. I finally answered today. Said he was calling from the Australian Institute of Research (which when I googled it while talking to him, doesn't exist) saying that he was calling me to talk about some tax incentives that I may not know about. Wanted to know all sorts of personal details, that I obviously refused because it sounded like a scam. When I asked him how he got my number, he said it was from a database and that he was calling residents in the Toowoomba region. I have never lived in or around Toowoomba and I have had the same phone number for 23 years. I ended up just hanging up on him.
