Yep, my husband just received a call from this number about 5 mins ago on a Saturday afternoon despite being on the DNCR and doesn't give his number out to anyone. Stop calling!!! You have been added to the reject list now!

Me too at 8:13pm. Enough trouble moving about nowadays, let alone having them hang up after three rings. Very resentful. Will be contacting my provider tomorrow and have their number also, blocked. Sooner or later these morons wil wonder why companies no longer want to trade in their wares.

I'd try Mark's suggestion, but why not let the provider get in touch with them and inform them of the ground rules if you have created them, in order to take care of scammers such as (not) ATO, or a very poor attempt at The Office of Fair Trading, infoming me that my bank account at Commonwaelth Bank has been overcharged and The O.F.T. can have it returned to me, with the only requirement being my date of birth. Sure, and I don't use CBA, so good luck with that one.

By the way the Feds are on to you - Mutts!.

Received a call today from an Australian voiced woman claiming to be doing a government survey into tourism and travel - I asked for details - she repeated, "government survey"

So you work for them, do you? "F**k off" is just as easy to say to unsolicited callers.

They called me today, wasted a few seconds of my life. He said ORC something and mentioned government, which remionded me of another call from the ATO scam calls. Asked them you they are calling, they said the owner of the phone, I said my work owns this number, bye.

We have a prepaid mobile phone that my wife uses "ONLY" for emergencies. Telstra recently advised that this was out of credit. When I contacted Telstra the said that there was a call to (03) 9038 3887. The date & time of the call was when we had just left my brother in a hospital emergency department. The length of call was almost an hour. This did not occur. More concerning is how did the call get registered as an outgoing call on her phone!! A basic mobile phone.

Persistant PEST. Rings a few times a week, just about 6pm. Hangs up a few seconds after the call is answered. Maybe a robot looking for a FAX tone.
