Enjoying my Sunday arvo and received a call from this numer, doing a survey on gambling i Victoria I am told - asked why on a Sunday as this is a no no according to the privacy laws, they hung up the phone........

i dont think it is funny..they ring every single evening round about this time or sometimes about five o'clock in the afternoon. first when I picked the phone up it would hang up on me...tonight I let it go so I could get the number and report it.

Rings everyday. Bloody nuisance.

claiming to be from Government Department doing a survey on gambling. Asked how she got my number as it is private she said private numbers are only protected by telemarketers and she is not a telemarketer. Biggest crock of sh**.

Received a phone call from this number (03) 9038 3887 - what a nuisance - it came through when I was at the gym. I answered the phone the person started to talk and then I promptly hung up on them. I have now added them to my blocked numbers list on my mobile.

Just got a call from this F$*%king number - they say they are doing a survey on behalf of Victoria Health - I don't even live in Victoria! They say they just dialled random number and got me - well they got more than just me!

Was called on my Nokia which doesn't get reception here. I let it ring out, then googled the number. Thanks to this site I learned that I didn't miss anything!

I get far too many telemarketing calls on my landline despite being listed on the Do Not Call Register. They usually call when I'm cooking dinner or otherwise busy. Their number is often disguised as 'Private'.

I usually hang up as soon as I hear the background noise from a busy call centre. If they get chatting I say 'No thanks' and hang up. But would prefer not to receive these calls at all. The DNCR is not working 100%, or it is being ignored, as the calls I'm receiving are from telemarketers.

Hung up the moment I lifted handset. Most important thing is to not call the number back, apparently.

Caller: Marketing and Research Company from Melbourne

They called me a few times a day, for a whole week. Sometimes my phone didn't even ring and theres already a missed call and a message telling me to call them back. Today I picked up the phone and a weak moman greeted "Hello". I answered and they immediately hang up. I suspected they sell my phone number and collected my details for call list. Annoying me so much!

“I’m not interested in this thank you for your time”
Then she hung up on me
