Foxtel calling to discuss 'an offer on my account that is about to expire', then asking for personal details.

Bryce from Foxtel phoned me to give me an offer but I just needed to answer security questions.
Needless to say I didn't get the offer but I did report Bryce at 'Foxtel' to the following website:

Can`t our authorities grow a pair and chase these scumbags down and prosecute them or better still deport the bastards..This wonderful country of ours is turning to sh*t. We never had problems like this until the flood gates were opened and in they swarmed. We are paying the price now

I received a call from this number but didn't answer as not on my contacts list. I this is really from Foxtel they need to leave a message or email. I will block the number. So sick of these calls from unknown numbers.

They called to offer me platinum HD for 12 months for $99 a month and a new box for a one off payment of $75 but when I told them I was not interested they got very pushy told them I was going to hang up and wished me a merry xmas

Called and hung up when I answered

You could always just call Foxtel and let them know? They would them remove your tel number from any account that it may have been inadvertantly placed on - problem solved?

I emailed foxtel after receiving a call about this loyalty offer. Foxtel emailed back that the call is from them! I still feel the call was creepy and it felt like spam to me.

Number has called several times now although already blocked, phone registers call still but doesn't ring

asking for personal detail n cc details.

Number rang and went to voicemail, person on the other side must of thought I answered and was yelling hello and my name and my partners too. Voicemail stopped as soon as he realised, haven’t got a call back yet but will deffs block

This number calls me at least 6 times a day and hangs when I answer. I do not answer the phone now when I see this number come up on caller ID

foxtel trying to upgrade IQ box, they fish for details, scam.

Received 'cold call' 3 August: Lady said he was from "Foxtel" & " ask if I was happy with the service". I voiced some concerns regarding recent changes and after listening to me asked me to confirm my personal details, to confirm they were talking to the right person. I declined and said she should already have those details and suggested that she should be able to provide my account number so that I knew she was actually from foxtel. I logged on to this site to check the phone number and decided she should send me an email.Then I closed the call. They must get some naive respondents otherwise they wouldn't continue to call. I guess they are trying to 'churn' customers.

I am over their deceptive marketing, they have my email address, all my details why keep ringing and leaving no message?

Pretty funny...let it go to voicemail and googled this page - meantime they've left a message...it's like a pocket dial haha! It was call centre conversations and laughing background noise! Well atleast that was more entertaining than their actual call by the sounds XD

I have had this phone number call on my mobile phone daily at the same time each day for last 3 weeks! I do not answer unknown phone numbers and if it essential then they should leave a voice mail and I will get back to them. They tried calling me also in the evening... I ignored it. it appears the call is a scam from Foxtel from all other messages above. if they want to upgrade me, then they can email me the deal!!....

Just got a call and voicemail from this number but they didn't leave a message I could just hear all the call center noise in the background - blocked them. If its Foxtel and they want me they can email me.
