Apparently it is Foxtel I wish they would ping off , calling at all hours n hanging up ! Do these companies ever consider some ppl are sick or have real issues they are dealing with n don't want strangers calling .Next Time they call i might just play some Hopsin Leave Me The #%*& Alone !

Calls from this number are at least twice a day I no longer answer any calls then do *10# I'm so sick of these annoying calls eventually I won't use a landline at all , I'll simply unplug it .

Call came after 6pm my phone said suspected spam, so I ignored it as I was in the middle of getting dinner ready as well. When I put the number through reverse Australia all these posts came up.

recorded message "press one if you did not authorise a $700 transaction from Amazon."
Scammer.

I let phone ring to message then I switched to no caller Id rang them twice both times it said welcome to Foxtel thank you for you interest and then hangs up so I blocked the number

Got a call today from this number claiming to be Foxtel. Please ignore this is a scam as confirmed by Foxtel when I rang them back directly.

Missed a call from this number, called it back and it was a recorded message saying “Foxtel has tried to call you regarding your service. Than you for your interest” then just disconnects.

Person stated they were from Amazon & wanted me to approve a payment of over $700. I hung up.

I've had two missed calls in the last two days. So i rang the number from my work phone and got this recorded message "Thank you for calling,Foxtel has recently tried to call you regarding our products and services. Thank you for your interest" then dial tone.

This number today saying they were Foxtel and wanted to offer us an internet bundle. I was unsure of details and asked if they could email the offer to me.
They seemed suspicious and were unsure when I asked for an email.
Have not sent through any of the requested info.

I have starting to receive calls from this number. They do not leave a message, so i do not answer them. Same with any other number that rings. There are so many scammers around it is getting ridiculous. You also need high end security on your computer and phone.

Second time I’ve received a call from this number. I refuse to answer. I usually check here to see who the number belongs to and then delete. Annoying because it’s dinner time.

Received phone call on my mobile this morning claiming to be from Foxtel and he knew my first name. Has Foxtel been hacked or personal information stolen from Foxtel call centre. I was very careful not to say yes as I caught this guy out on what Foxtel can offer me. Scammer

Can't believe there are comments from 9 years ago and they are still using the same number and same trick?! The caller claimed to be from Foxtel and offered me a movie package for half price...I asked what package do i have now and he started asking for my details...when i told him he should know as he called me, he repeated that the call is recorded and asked for my full name etc.My worry is that they actually know my first name!

Hopefully if enough people complain here about the foxtel contact they will stop, BUT at least they are calling on the same number so you can recognise and block them.

Disappointing that Foxtel call you, bombard you with emails , show endless ads on their channels and charge you heaps for the privilege.

This is certainly just one more trigger for cancelling the subscription

Whoever it was it was from a Vic number. If they really want me they can call back. I hate unsolicited calls!

PLEASE, do not answer YES to any of their questions. If you do you may find you have said yes to something that they didn't say to you, you may find they have sold you something you didn't want. If anyone on the phone asks you a question upfront that needs a YES comment, hang up....very old SCAM
