I have just had 2 calls within a space of 30 mins both times no one speaks so I decided to call the number back and it said it was Benefit Deal on this number (03) 4213 4016 from Winchelsea South

Indian accent. Sounded semi-legit. Said they worked with many energy providers and that all residents in NSW were eligible for some discount on electricity. I said I was busy and would call back later after I checked them out.

Caller: Ronald (allegedly)

I just spoke to the guy and told him how a quick google search of the "company" name only shows complaints and no company by the name benefit deals and suddenly he hangs up. What a shock. I wish there was some kind of enforcement group to shut these annoying pests down. This is the 17th time they have called me. Aaagggghhhhh!!!

Have had numerous calls from (03) 8202 5491 claiming to represent Benefit Deal - caller sounded from India - knew that I resided in Qld

I had a similar experience. I was told the head office address was 10.01 Bowen Crs South Melbourne 3004, and that the owner was Ronald Baker.

I got as many details as I could from Alan, although they are probably bogus.
Benefit Deals were calling from an India-based call centre, but purport to have a head office working out of 10.01 Bowen Crs, South Melbourne 3004.
They get a referral fee for helping to transfer Australian residents to new energy providers. They would not provide an ABN.
The owner's name was said to be Ronald Baker.

The last phone call they rang on (03) 8820 8540...i keep blocking them but they continue to call using a different number.

Numerous calls from this number or similar. When you ask them to remove the number from their call lists they hang up or pretend they can't hear you. Definitely overseas call centre.

Got a call from Benefit Deal today in the evening. They got my address and last name right. But they don't have the first name. I was surprised. The call was ended when I decline to disclose further information.

Jack from Benefit Deal called me about electricity , told him I had a toothache today and couldn’t talk , then blocked number

I hung up soon as the person with a foreign accent asked me for my name. A message for Australian companies who use foreign call centers. I DO NOT TALk TO THEM.

Call about electricity and gas looks like a Australia number but it's not.

Electricity deals.
Calling 3 times today.
Third number block for today. Why do I keep getting marketing calls. I have blocked over 200 numbers already.
