Caller: Benefit Deal (03) 8820 0035)

The guy said they were a marketing firm for Energy Australia offering 18% discount on part of my bill, I said that I was getting at least 10% more than what they were quoting, he kept on going on about give in this discount, sound like a scam I have blocked the number.

and they now have (03) 8400 6087 which comes up as from Eltham, Victoria. When I ask them (every time) to remove me from their call list they hang up. They are rude and speak over you.

“Owen” called offering to find a better electricity deal, asking for my personal info, I refused to give and he said hold for his “specialist” - same guy came back on the line trying to disguise their voice as “Ryan” 😂

it is probably a rolling number as I had a different one again

Received a call from 'Benefit Deal. Re : Electricity' Politely said "not interested but thank-you."Caller then ranted "no one is interested in you. Your wife is not interested in you." Cold calling taken to a next new level of abuse.

(03) 8751 8358 - Benefit Deal spoke with a woman who said her name was "Anna Smith".

Have had several calls from them and each time have asked them to take me off their call list as i don't deal with the accounts, i have blocked each number but appears they have multiple numbers. They are very rude and pushy!

Received a call from 'Benefit deal' from different numbers in the last few months.
No matter how many times I asked them to remove my contact details, they just keep calling me with different numbers. there is a youtube mocking this guys.

TOTAL SCAM, GOVERNMENT SHOULD DEREGISTER SUCH INDIVIDUALS FROM PALISTAN OR INDIA OR WHEREEVER THEY ARE FROM. DISSASTER AND WHEN I ASKED WHAT THEY WANT FROM ME, JUST UPDATE OF MY INFORMATION!!!!!!

They called. I could tell strait up that it's a scam. Dont play along with them

I got a call from this gentleman, claiming he is from 'Benefit Deal'. We have been called here at the house multiple times, and I wouldn't be surprised if they've been hitting the mobile too.

To be honest, I haven't spoken any further to the gentleman.. he was polite, as was I.. though this doesn't smell good right from the start. The fact that they are essentially using harrassment tactics to get people to sign up, and are very pushy, is already a complete deal-breaker.

I'd inform people to stay away from these guys where possible.

Answered phone said I was not interested was told I wasn't listening, I said again not interested and was abused and yelled at. The male said why did I answer the phone, I said because it's my phone to answer, more abuse from him. How do these people get away with it and who sells them our phone no. This should be stopped.

I received two calls from (03) 8751 8354 today. Each call has short duration of rings, maybe only 3 rings. I called back and answered by voice machine it said it is from Benefit Deal. What is this entity? not even exit in the Google search. I believed that All telephone numbers in Australia should be legally ID before it can make a call through.

They've called me 4x today once to hang up as soon as I answered. Number has changed twice but the speaker is consistently from Benefit Deal and asks if i'm the primary payer of the gas and electricity bill. Hung up as soon as I asked off the call list.

I got a call from (03) 8751 8354 today, which my phone identified as being from Dandenong, Victoria. I am based in Queensland.

The caller had a thick (I think, Indian) accent, and sped through who he was calling from. He said something about offering discounts on electricity prices, and something about government discounts being passed on to customers. He said the call was being recorded for training purposes. He began to ask me about my financial situation, whether I was the account holder, and whether there was a gas connection at my premises (I figured a legitimate caller from an electricity provider probably would have been able to find that last part out from their own end).

I asked him who he was calling from, and he said "Benefit Deal". I Googled that number and the phone number above, and found this thread.

I told him that I had never heard of Benefit Deal, am happy with my electricity provider, that a quick Google reveals that Benefit Deal is flagged for pest calls, and then asked my number be removed from their call list. I told him I would be ending the call.

The caller then angrily told me that I didn't understand, that he would be terminating the call, and then promptly hung up.

I don't claim to be an expert, but... sure feels like a scam to me.

Just got a phone call from Benefit Deal (my second one today) he told me that he was calling to compare prices on my electricity bills he called me by my Nickname. When asked how he knew my Nickname he said it was the name on the bill. All of my bills are in my full name for legal reasons. I asked him if they had called me already and he replied with "we have not called you" I continued with, "that's a lie I have already gotten a phone call" and that i would like to be taken off their list. He then continued to argue with me saying that they had not called when I responded with "What you are doing is illegal, there is no way you would know my Nickname or that it would be on my bills. Stop calling me and take me off your list."

Absolutely sick of this tele marketing and ale. Should be illegal. so frustrating

They made several attempts to call me. Each time I answer no one is there. Then finally spoke to someone today. They had my name in full, first, middle and last and the name of my company. When asked where they got my details they would not answer, so I hung up. Disturbing this sort thing. I would be very dubious about giving them any information and doing any business with them, Feels very dodgy.
