Just got a scam call from "Alexandre Lee" from the "ATO" about "tax evasion" with a callback number of (03) 4309 4093.

Just heard about this number on my local radio station - I can't believe people do this!!!

Same call here twice today. "Alexander Lee" from ATO calling about tax avoidance legal complaint. Police should be able to investigate and shut them down easily!

Got one Wednesday, he left a voicemail with details. Called the ATO and lodged a scam report. Looks like he's not a one-time offender, eh?

I just got a call from this Alexander Lee too from this number.

Scam. Same as previous posts here - one call from a private number, another from
(03) 4309 4093 with voicemails both times saying that it was Alexander Leigh from the ATO calling about my supposed tax evasion.

just got one too: (03) 4309 4093 - claiming they're the tax office, and I've had a complaint made against me resulting in a "lawsuit" being filed against me. A similar call from Canberra (which I returned) ...wanted my "zip" code ..Ha ha, can't even get correct terminology.
Distinct Indian or Pakistani accent in both calls.
This number comes up as Bakery Hill, Victoria as their area code.
I rang to ask their address and got some bogus info.

The point is, these bastards are on the increase, trying to steal identities for financial gain.

"Alexander Lee" just phoned me too! He sounds suspiciously like "Michael Anderson" from the "ATO". Scammers !

Someone called with the name Alexander Lee relating to a Tax debt/evasion.
I finally got through to him asked for proof such as sending me an email that he was from the ATO, after he told me he was not authorized to.
At that point I couldn't help but to tell him that he was running a scam and that it was all over the internet and sucked in. I then hung up the phone

Had two messages left on our answering machine today from this scum bag.
Claims he is Alexander Lee from the ATO and wants me to call back on (03) 4309 4093.
So easy to tell this is a scam and I did not call the number.

"tax scam" ATO. Quickly followed by no-callerID calls when I blocked this number.

100% Scam! Don't answer and if you do tell them where to go!
