ATO Scam. Pre-recorded and asked to call back.

Also got a call! How do you turn him in to authorities?!

Also was called from Alexandre Lee from the ATO about tax evasion with the same callback number. After checking with my tax accountant, he also confirmed this is a scam. The ATO won't ever call you, they will always send letters first. Block this number.

Guy called "Alexandra Lee" left aggressive sounding message on my phone, saying I am guilty of tax avoidance and tax fraud, and must call him back immediately. Said he was from the Australian Tax Office (ATO). Obviously a scam, he sounded desperate and suspicious.

Got the same call from an "Alexander Lee from the Australian Taxation Office regarding Tax Debt and evasion asking for a call back on (03) 4309 4093.
I contact the the ATO (via the 132861 contact centre number) and confirmed this is a scam.

just got the same call American accent , "Alexandre Lee" from the "ATO" about "tax evasion" i hung up as soon as he said ATO

I also received a call from this number in an attempt to accuse me of Tax Evasion. They are not very bright.

Yep, got the same call from the same number. Scam.

ATO scam.... rang once with number above then twice private number... when called back Asian guy answered saying "thank you for calling the Australian Taxation Office". Hung up.

I also received many calls/messages from this number under Alexandre Lee. I am pretty sure it is a scam. We should report this to the police.
