I am sure you are aware of the current community campaign to stop the building of a McDonald's store in Tecoma, Victoria. The community are furious that the VCAT decision has gone in favour of the development despite a huge community movement who are against this happening.

We have presented clear arguments that the proposal does not meet the Shire of Yarra Ranges Planning Scheme, and Council unanimously refused the application.

There were strong practical grounds that argued against the development including issues regarding traffic, impact on the elderly residents nearby, noise and the close proximity to the Primary School opposite.

Tecoma is a small village that is the gateway to the Dandenong Ranges, a place where people escape the city to experience the National Park, rainforests, clean air and visit tea rooms, galleries and cafes. The entire aesthetic of the region is based on being different from the rest of the suburbs and on this quiet mountain setting.

You are aware, I am sure, of the contemporary power of social media. Our current campaign is gaining huge support from all quarters and this will have an impact on your corporate image, and reputation. This decision has also made a lot of people lose faith in the democratic system, and how development decisions are made. They see a local council's and community's wishes for their home and environment totally overlooked. In the broader sense, people are angry and disillusioned with the whole process and this is going to reflect badly on your company for pushing this forward.

If this store manages to get built, it will be boycotted by many. There will be protests by many. A tireless campaign against this store will prevail I can assure you.

We are a determined, passionate community, and we will continue to campaign against this for as long as it takes.

I urge you, as a corporation who claims to care about community, to not build this store. (Mr S' original)

your store at settlement point in port macuarie has to be the most useless store you have in your franchise.not only are they slow,they can never get any orders correct and i know of plenty of people that dont even leave the drive thru without checking there order including the burgers themselves, actually opening package to make sure right burger is in there.they have 2 drive thrus going with 1 person taking orders and cant keep up then they cant get ur order right. many times we have gotten short orders or completely wrong meals, so now we are one of those that wont leave without checking orders first. its pretty disgracful that they can stuff up so many orders each day when they do it day in and day out.. i understand mistakes happen but not everytime you go there.someone from hq needs to go there unknown to the owners and see for urself. oh and you need to tell the owner to stop turning up drunk there as i think he should be setting an example to his employees.

I just met the rudest boy named Blake who was apparently the manager of the wyong store, I really need to speak to someone about this, also I was not given a receipt when I purchased with a credit card as the machine was broken down, that is illegal and not good enough, if I dont hear back from someone I will take it further. thank you upset customer who wont be returning to the WYONG store ever.

Wow just met the rudest young woman at McDonalds Kingsford drive through. If I can believe her name badge her name is "Melissa" and her rudeness gives customer "service" a whole new mean isn't!!! Shame on her parents !!!

The community of Tecoma objected, and yet Mc Donalds wrongly believe they will have enough clientele to support the store. They won't. To withdraw now would show that Mc Donald's is community minded! Do the right thing.

I live in Perth WA and about a year ago I went to McDonalds in kelmscott. I orderd a a double quarter pounder meal and I found a garden spider in my burger. I went back to the McDonald's and showed them what i found. I filled out a form and the manager said that I can have a new meal or a refund, I obviously chose the refund. I was also told I would get a call from the head office to follow up the the insident. I have not reserved a call nor have I eaten mcdonalds since. I understand that it is hard to keep bugs out of a kitchen and that it is a very busy place but I am disappointed will not be eating McDonald's because I was told I would hear back from you and I haven't. Management staff at Mcdonalds Sunnybank, must have received their training from a Weetbix box! Their lack of management knowledge and interpersonal skills is detrimental to the reputation of the McDonald's organisation.

to anyone ever thinking of going to macdonalds in corio victoria save your money and goto kentucky the food is sh*t woud be the worst in australia if its not cold its stale or just thrown together or chucked in the bag or the wrong order the salad looks like old stock and if you phone the store to complain the line is always busy problely from other complaining customers idont ask for much but would like food you can eat that you pay for wont be bying any more food from this dump for my family and will tell others to go elsewhere aswell thank you kentucky

I have been going to McDonald in Wanneroo Perth western Australia and constantly they get my order wrong in the kitchen. I know it's not hard because I use to work with your company I'm over it they need to get there act together they have now lost two customers.

I buy a large Capp every morning from Glenfieldand the cup is full it is a large where at campbelltown Maccas (any one of in Campbelltown) when you order a lrg capp you get a leg cup but is only half filled now when I ask for a lrg Capp I want the lrg cup and filled to the top with coffee not just froth

Burnie tas im so appauled with the young staff to the boy that gave my son a peace of meat with no bun when he asked for a buger with meat only ha ha as for the other 4 orders u cant get right im sure my 4 year old could do beter i would only have 2 show her once disgusting

For the second week running, I have just come back from the Moree McDonald's. For the second week running, they have had no glasses. Last week, I bought the meal. This week, I've walked out and gone to the opposition. The staff, in neither case were any way pleasant about the issue either. Enough is enough!!!

i`m not happy with mc donalds at brassall qld, my children only get takeaway ones at month, they wanted mc donalds so they can get a coke glass, brassall was out of glasses, so i ask the manager, when will you have more coke glasses in, she said friday afternoon, i asked if i come back friday can i get two coke glasses, we orded 2 lrg dbl qtr, so we should get 2 glasses, she said sorry no, i told her i am very disappointed, that we didn`t get coke glasses and allso in the manager, I found the manager very rude, i don`t think we will be going back there,kidiens @ hotmail.com

In regards to your hallet cove store adelaide.. poor service and food.. we have been going to this store for a few years now only because its close and for no other reason... anytime we order our meals at least 1 will be wrong... chicken bacon delux meal its not that hard to make. the hint is in the name but do you think we can get the burger with BACON .. in regards to last night 5th July 2012 we went in ordered x5 meals and 3 had to be send back... They couldnt even get the drinks right. large fanta orange ordered and I was given Frozen fanta!!! Burger meal was ordered we got the chips and drink but NO BURGER and then was told oh we didnt charge you for a burger!!! Mc donalds stuff up at the very least they could off given us the burger... sydney stack burger looked like it had been kicked from sydney and it was that cold it very well may have...chicken bacon delux meal yes you guessed it no BACON... each time it gets blamed on new staff. Hell even when the manger serves us it is still wrong......staff are rude and there was no manager that shouts and abuses staff in front off customers!!! Hallet cove store is a let down and a 5yr old could run the place better

we went for breakfast at McDonalds ACT in The CBD food hall.I ordered an omelette it was like a piece of chewing gum.It had a large bun on the bottom and a small one on top.I had a white tea and the milk was sour.We waited six minutes for this and we were first in line-one person serving and one cooking.What a joke paying for this.

Hey guys just wanted to write to you to say that I'm a crew person at Midland McDonald's and today (08/12/11) i was asked by a college to do a shift for her and a manager confirmed it. As I came in to my shift at 2:45pm to start at 3pm I ordered some food which took 5mins then I sat in the crew room at our store and finished eating until 3:10pm then clocked on for my shift as i needed to eat before my shift so that i could perform well for my store i got told that i was getting a counseling form then when i asked why the manager told for clocking on 10mins late. I then explained my self to the manager on shift that I didn't clock on till i had finished eating so that i could perform well for you and your store. the manager Dudley told me "she doesn't care and that i should have just gone starving" then I was being rude and i know that was wrong but i shouldn't get terminated for not being able to finish my food then clocked of and went to talk to a different crew person that was starting a 4pm and the manager told me i wasn't even allowed to talk to him and for me to get out of the store.

I would kindly appreciate it if you could follow this up for me and come to the meeting at my store.
