Caller: Optus? Lady calling claiming that she worked for optus and was trying to offer me an upgrade to my phone / plan. After I said if I want to do this I will go into a local optus store she was pushing for me to do this over the phone and to provide her details linked to my account. Ended the call

I'm Getty Ng so many unknown numbers. I reject most of them. The ones I do pick up end up being a scam and hang up. And a number that's from a different state that I'm in. No. Decline.

I messaged them on Facebook and they could not confirm the number is theirs...I've lost too much in this BS to want to deal with them

Caller: Supposedly OPTUS Phone quality is absolutely horrendous for a call centre located in Australia. Wanted to speak with account holder & offer a discount. Couldn’t reach holder & for security purposes couldn’t go any further & offered to call back. You want to talk about security purposes after our information was leaked! I wasn’t willing to hand over my details either.

I couldn't agree more it didn't come up as Optus so I didn't answer it. I don't answer any calls from anybody that comes up as private or just nothing..

Caller: Optus Woman called, supposedly from Optus, about my complaint. Thing is, I didn’t make a complaint. Suspected it was a scam call. Very hard to decipher as her very strong accent made it hard to understand and she spoke that fast I couldn’t keep up. Possibly from India. I regard every unsolicited call a scam call now. Can’t be too complacent. Thanks Optus.

Caller: Optus This is an Optus number. I agree, it needs a caller ID because it does seem suspicious. I have been dealing with someone from Optus recently and it is always from this particular number. My dealing has been within the NBN department of Optus. Not a scam.
