I have had approx 20 calls from this number allways just open connection then they hangup after about 40secs - very annoying!

This number just called me saying he is from optus with an offer or credit for me. Wanted me to verify the year of my birth had my full name and date and month of birth. I said if he can tell me the other phone number on my accouny i will give him these details. He wouldnt confirm my other phone number on the exact same account so i hung up. Sounds dodgy

Had this number call almost every day this week and not leave a message. Twice on Wed. Yes I am with Optus, but have arrange for them to SMS everything they want me to know, which they do, as I am hearing impaired. So yep it must be a scam. Never give your details out to anyone who calls asking.

Number calls me twice a day for a week now. Haven't picked up until recently and had a voice message play, then later this person saying he's from Optus and asking me to verify my name and number.

I got a call as well from this number this afternoon.....I did not take it but rang them later and the call was diverted to Optus.Does it mean it could be some optus sales guys.....??

This is scam no company will call you out of the blue and will only provide you with a txt message as proof

Ring many times a day, answered this morning, claim to be from Optus (unfortunately my present provider) asked for me by name and then disconnected themselves!!!!

A guy with an accent called saying something about a new Optus feature 30 day trial and a new hand set, I asked to explain because I didn't understand and the guy replied 'this call is recorded for quality purposes' he said to registered for the 30 day trial and free handset I needed to give him my birth date. I told him I'm not giving him any details and hung up. I've blocked the number now.

This number has called me two days in a row. They claim to be from Optus, but I have my contract setup in a way that Optus texts me whenever there is an issue rather than call. So it's obvious that this is a scam. Do not give them your details!

I have the same issue and later verified with Optus that they are not from optus. Told me that I was over the limit with mobile data when I am actually not.

This number calls me everyday to the point where I just pick up and don't say a word and neither do they and they just hang up. Calling it back takes me to an automated Optus service. Extremely annoying.
