Guys saying I had been involved in a car accident, I told the guy that I don’t know how he knew as I made sure the guy was dead before I left. He still proceeded to tell me the “dead guy” was making an insurance claim for his dented car

Caller: Male foreign voice Asked me about an accident. I said "You're telling the story, you tell me." I hung up. This seems to be a follow on from the insurance company hack awhile ago where customers data was stolen. I received a ransom attempt and the criminal correctly identified the online password I then used for the insurance company using the information to try to convince me he or she knew all about me and had access to all my data and my computer.

Scammer telling me been in accident. I quite sarcastically said “Really, that’s news to me”
The irritating part last year this happened and they happened to get through on silent number but telling my husband that your wife has been in accident. Needless to say I received a quick call from hubby. Why why can’t the authorities get these bloody people.

Caller: Claimed to be from an motor vehicle insurance company Asked me by full name. Said that I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the last two years. I said no. Then they asked if any of my family or friends were involved in a crash in the last 2 years, said nope. The guy said thanks and hung up. I guess I sounded disinterested.
