Another scam involving a car accident. Can the government please shut them down!

I just got a call- 6pm- from a female who sounded Asian or Indian, saying she was from an accident insurance company. I said I was not interested and hung up.

Yep me too today, want to know if i had an accident, i said sure mate i have em every day, and asked him to tell me which one he was talking about, he got all confused and hung up... lol, just need to keep baiting these guys for more information and they panic.

Scammer thought I Iodged an accidental claims. I responded by signing to them

Scammer stating I had been in an accident in the past two years and it was not my fault.
When I said 'no I haven't' they hung up.

Wanted to confirm I'd been in an accident in the past 2 years. I hung up and blocked them. It's obviously a scam.

Same - someone claiming I had be involved in an accident. I said 'How did you know that? That's so unbelievable cause it only happened like 5 minutes ago' and then proceeded to play along continuing to say 'God what will I do I've damaged 15 cars, do you think you can help me, should I give you my insurance details, my bank account details and pin number, my passport details' and at that they hung up and have never heard since. So funny! What morons!

Called me saying I had a motor vehicle accident in the last two years. Ironically, I actually was in a motor vehicle accident two weeks ago which was not my fault. Told them I already sorted it out with RAC and they hung up. Hilarious.

Looks like these scum of the earth are fishing for people who want to make money from a personal injury. Turning Australia into a bunch of whingers like America trying to make of quick buck. Making it more expensive the rest of us and also real pain in the butt as every large organisation has to "make safety our number one priority" otherwise they will be sued maliciously.

I really had an accident that wasn't my fault, so I spoke to him first, but shortly after noticed that is was a scam, as he didn't have any details about me, just my first name and phone number.

Scam about ctp claim for accident I had, told them I hadn’t been injured & that they weren’t legitimate, then they hung up

Caller: Woman, Indian sounding accent.

"You've been involved in accident last 2 years not your fault" etc, usual crap, strung her along, she said "maybe someone else in your family..." denied her every suggestion; she eventually politely (!) hung up!

yes don't answer that nymber. it is a scam
