Easy to change phone number. They can have a new number every day. Ring and report to Telstra, they will put a block on your phone so these people can't phone you and they will block the number being used.

Thanks Everyone who commented. I don't answer 02 or 03 numbers then look up on this site. Find out who they are and then block them. Thanks for your input.

Caller: Accidents and claims department from Sydney

They were from accidents and claim company from Sydney and their records show I had an altercation in the last 2 years that wasn't my fault....I said nice try you're a scammer and she just kept saying over and over about 3 times am I asking you for any money ? I kept repeating as well I've never had an accident I'm reporting this number over and over and she hung up on me

Called with not enough rings to answer.
From the information I have read here, I will not call back!

They are still at it. Had a call this afternoon and when I answered there was silence and then disconnected. Have now blocked the number.

This old chestnut seems to be doing the rounds again. They claim to be from Accident Investigations and want to talk about your motor vehicle accident. This is the third time in the past 2 years these people have called me. I block their number every time, but they just keep coming back with a new one. When I tell them I haven't had an accident and I know they're trying to scam me they hang up.

I got the same Car Accident scammer today. Wish these scammer could be stopped. Very annoying.

Accident scam artist from Guptarville. Sad or what they will catch some ol fart out of thousands no doubt and who's gonna stop them.....No one, yup thats why they keep on doing it cause the phone companies and the police dont give a dam on bringing these crooked scum to justice......Really how hard can it be they have there number!
