I just received a call from this number. Same as the first comment "Caller, claiming to be representing an insurance company dealing with a car accident. Stated he knew I had been in an accident in the past two years, and was trying to finalise the claim"
I said that no one was hurt in an accident so I wasn't sure what he was calling about. Also, the insurance company has already been involved and haven't mentioned anything to me about this. He asked if I had sustained any injuries at all or any passengers. I said no. So then he said goodbye.
Definitely a scam as no one in my family has made an injury claim! Block this number!

Ha! Ha! Glad you add sure you killed the driver. My Daughter told them she remembered the accident well as it was a stolen car as she was the getaway driver for a bank robbery and she crashed the car so left it abandoned.

same as above, knew my first name, and called my mobile, said he was calling from Accident Claims Compensation and it was about an accident in the last 2 years that wasn't my fault. i said that's not true, he said so no-one in your family has had an accident in last 2 years, i said that's correct and he said have a good day and hung up.

Had several calls this week from this number (I had googled and seen it’s a scam) I finally answered today, strong Indian accent male asked if I had been in any motor vehicle accidents in the last year and questioned him by asking if I had and he said he was asking me haha when I said no (rather bluntly) he then wanted to know about my family and friends. When I said no yet again he was rather quick to get off the phone.

When the phone rang i looked at the number to see whether to answer it, and the phone was already telling me it was a scam - obviously enough people have reported the number, which is great to see.
