This number has been calling me for months , I don't answer because unfamiliar number. How can someone get away with this for so long to so many people? Does anyone know where he lives?

Called May 2016. Identified as Optus. Didn't ask personal questions just asked if happy with current plan. Seemed suprised I answered and background noise didn't sound like a call centre. Was a little suspicious.

Just don't answer call if u don't recognise no. These telemarketers keep changing no., u can't block every new no. everyday.

I have had 6 calls from this number since 25/04/2016. I don't answer it because I don't know anyone, or do business with anyone, in 08 area code. I have been rejecting it. From the looks of things, I am right in thinking it is telemarketing or a scam of some sort.

Got a few missed calls from this number, no message left. Finally I rang the number back and it's NTC voice solutions - whoever they are! Googled and found this site with comments, so will block them. Thanks.

So glad I have the ability to block this number - no longer disturbed, still get a notification about the call though - ringing constantly over the last two weeks!

Called me at 7:45pm, kind of a wierd time to call so i was suss already. Than said they were from optus and the call was being monitored for training purposes so thought it might be legit. But then they asked for some personal info so i hang up. Googled the number. Now im here. Now im happy i didnt give them anything. Been getting calls from random numbers like this for months now so im not really the trusting type from strange numbers anymore.

They have been calling me, and they had a lot of my details from optus, my name, plan, how long I had been with opus, they then said, sorry there is nothing we can provide you with, goodbye. I have rung optus and they said it is not affiliated with them and they have put in a complaint.

Initially said calling from Optus. When I asked "Are you calling from Optus or on behalf of Optus", he said "On behalf of Optus". Then I said, my number is in the "donotcall registry and do you know what that means?". Then I asked for his name. He said some.... Patel. I asked him to spell it for me. He hung up!!!!

I am a new Optus mobile customer and have been receiving repeated calls from this number which I have not picked up, and no messages have been left.
I have blocked upon reading the other comments.
