So after you told them to stop calling you, did they actually stop?

They rang me the other day and left a voice message but it was just background noise of what sounded like a call centre. They keep ringing me, and I continue to not answer them.

Called me every day this week. Today i answered and he said he was from Optus and needed my year of birth. He had the month and date already. When I refused he said he couldn't continue with the call!!

calls thrn hangs up. very annoying

Received the same call from them moments ago.

Block the number if you can. They call to work out what time you are likely to answer the phone so they can onsell your details on the data base. The call is from NT something on Behalf of optus. I would not go to the website to remove them though as I think this would be an effort to gather more information

I keep getting a message saying I missed a call from this number yet my phone doesn't ring

Called me saying he was from from the Australian tax office I hung up on him

Bothersome, not interested in some random insisting I can save money through his suggestions. I suggest you leave me alone.

Have had a number of calls from this number.... Finally answered them today after already reading these posts. The lady tried to say she was from Optus and that she was calling in regards to my number and said a number that is no where near my number hahaha f*cken idiots! If your trying to scam people do your homework first! She said no no I'm calling from Optus. I said well then you would know my number!
Told her to stop calling me or I will report this number agin and she said ok il stop calling and hung up hahaha

Just had a call from this number and they hung up when i answered. Called the number back and went through to a unmanned message bank. Glad I looked the number up and read all of the comments. Only just swapped over to Optus as well! Needless to to say one call was enough to get them blocked!

(08) 9289 2045 every day around 10 am he knows my email address of my name says optus gives me a new plan to include the network he says will send me a new form used to pay the last to ask my birthday I refuse to hang The terrible thing about breaking the phone is that he knows part of my birthday.

Same time is definitely suspect. Will attempt to ignore.

How did you block the number? Can you do it yourself or do you need to do it with Optus? Do they block their own numbers?

called saying they were from optus and they had new deals to help save me money and asked if I was happy with my data plan and if I thought I would go over my data limit - when I started questioning the lady saying I didnt belive she was from optus she quickly said goodbye and hungup

Called 2 days in a row, both times hung up on me after initial hello, male voice with noisy background.

I gave my date of birth too! Now I'm worried!!

Didn't answer the number, looked it up here, blocked it. thanks everyone
