This prick called again today,has been calling on and off for some months now and quite often just hangs up when u answer, claimed to be from Optus.
I am getting a bit sick of this bastard.

They keep calling, I keep ignoring them. My 2 year contract with optus run out in Aug 2013 and I was glad for the change! Do they really think I would come back??

Answered heard dull click hung up immediately, Optus really needs to address this. Surely they have the technology to block this nuisance.

Pathetic telemarketer from Optus who has been doing spam calls for more than a week. Upon being confronted they claimed to be the form Optus head office and proceed to hard sell on a mobile early upgrade. I am on the DNC register and opted out from their promotional materials... just stop calling already!

This number calls daily and when picked up no one answers. Finally someone does speak up today, and when confronted about this being a marketing spam call the operator insists on being a service call from Optus head office. The call ended with an offer to early upgrade of my mobile. Not marketing did you say?

I never knew being an Optus customers means that they can bypass me being on the DNC register.

Same happened with me. They call, at odd times, weekends, and hang up quickly. Won't call them! More importantly, will now block this number!!! Isn't there anything more we can do to stop this?

Called this number back and it directed me to call Optus sales. Did that, and found out they were trying to get me to renew my contract (not due for renewal for 3 months). Told the guy that if Optus didn't stop calling me, I would be renewing with another phone provider. Seems to have done the trick.

Phone rang once and hung up when I was driving. I am an Optus customer and nearing the end of a contract, but they have already contacted me about this quite recently - Last time they made these hang-up calls for about a week before actually talking to me. I'm sick of nuisance calls from Optus and would like to change providers.

I am getting calls from this bunch of pricks twice a day, I just do not answer.

Got a from this number, I answered it said "hello" and they hung up. Called the number back got Optus voicemail giving me other options and phone numbers to contact sales and customer service. Annoying!

They keep calling my child's mobile so checked the number here and saw all the posts. Has anyone reported them as suggested above? If so, any success?

Same call same time two days in a row. Have read all comments above and will not answer when and if they ring again. Was thinking of leaving optus but now definately will.

This number won't stop calling they do 3 rings and hang up! Really annoyed! I always google numbers before calling back this is crap behaviour

I didn't know there was a reverse directory til now. Its an Optus spam call. Been getting 2-3 calls per day! Yes DAY ! I have BLOCKED it but still get a notification that I missed a call. As I have a medical condition, I don't appreciate being woken up and disturbed. If they REALLY want me .....TEXT me!

Called me twice today, I answered the second call. Some guy from Optus trying to sell me stuff. I already told them I didn't want to upgrade or anything. Then the guy says, "Ok i'll just mark down on your account that we offered you a 20% discount, and you said no."
I don't know if he thought that would just make me love Optus more, and I thought if the phone was out of contract they might actually be nice?!
Screw them. Called another company immediately and have transferred out. Now i feel great!
