Yes they called me dis morning & hung up. Lucky i googled before calling them back...I know the trick they playing .. selling stuff..Optus is a BIG company , They should not do this...Stuff Optus go to another Carrier...???

Got rung by this number a few times now, glad a friend told me to Google it. I will add to Contacts, name it Junk 01 and put the Contact setting to Always Send To Voicemail. The phone wont ring for that number now.

I just called OPTUS abuse to report this number - telling them what's been happening & mentioned this site with many of the same COMPLAINTS. I told them I want to block this number etc. I am sick of the calls more than 5 per day. They had passed on to support, But won't do much else about it, unless people report this nuisance to the Police or TIO. Im sure they'll look into it, but not much will be done unless we push and force their hands with this. NOTE: CALL and REPORT the to TIO people. Report the number. www.tio.com.au

got a call from these guys today, saying this was a call from Optus asking me to verify my birthdate and asking me if i would be interested in upgrading my phone. when i said 'give me some more details and i'll think about it', the guy said ( a bit rudely ) 'i can't give you the details on the phone but you can have a look on our website and give us a call back once you know what you're interested in' !!

Yes, this is OPTUS, they have been calling once a week for two months - called back and they were trying to sell me something. Grrrrrr

They have been calling me about three times a day for the past few weeks - I never answer and when I do, they hang up. It must be osme stupid computer generated telemarketer thing - grrrr! Leave me alone!

i have been receiving this stupid calls for 12 months. They only ring twice and hang up. I have contacted the telecommunications Industry ombudsmen (tio) and put in a complaint today, despite contacting Optus and asking them to remove me from any telemarketing lists. They told me I would be removed in 15 minutes. NO, this hasn't happened. Lets see what the tio does.

That number rang me this morning it on rang twice so I didn't have a chance at answering it I didn't know the number so I googled it thanks to this site I know not to answer it I'm storing it in my phone as nuisance call

I have an answering machine and number/name display. Every incoming call shows up as name. People I know are labelled with their name. All these bogus calls appear as "SCAM" in the directory with their number. I NEVER pick up unless it's someone I know, or a genuine message starts on the answering machine.

There are literally as many texts from that nb as a family member who texts me 4-5 times a day. Family texts are most welcome, theirs are NOT. I don't need 10 dozen repetitive texts a week or fortnight to make me nuts!!!!!!!!!!! This time of problem should have Government intervention.

I have had numerous calls from this number some times they hang up after 1 or 2 rings and sometimes they do when it goes through to message bank. VERY annoying and wish I could just BLOCK. Not sure if this is the same number that I HAVE answered but have had calls claiming they were from OPTUS saying they were sending me a NEW PHONE. Obviously I am STILL WAITING for the phone, because I usually say, GREAT I can't wait to receive it and hang up. Obviously not from Optus because I have never received the phone.

After nearly 2 years of calls from this number (just after I went to optus) I've recieved numerous calls, told the same as everyone else yet still called so like others teltsra here I come

This number has called me 7 times in the last 4 days. They let it ring a couple of times then hang up. Thankfully I googled it and saw the above feed of complaints. I am an optus customer and will be following someone elses advice above and making it go straight to voicemail. So annoying!
