I just had a call from this number. The caller was male, and he said he was from the Claims Department. I told him I had no outstanding insurance claims, and he asked me if I had had a car accident in the past two years. When I told him no, he asked me if he was talking to Mr (my surname). I told him he was and he then asked if anyone in my family had had a car accident. When I told him no he said he must have been given a wrong number, apologised, and hung up. The background noise sounded like a call centre. His accent was English or Australian.

Don't trust them at all, they called so many times asking info regarding a car accident and accident claims, had already 7 in total from Melbourne and Sydney as well. Definitely SCAM

Much as per other comments. Claimed to be from "Accident Commission", with an Indian accent. Instantly smelt a dead rodent and told him to f**k off.

As with other comments here, yet another BS scam about 'someone' having had a car accident in past 2 years. Must try to play along with one to find out what this crap is about as these type of calls are getting quite common.

Continually receive calls from this # stating about a car accident and could I find the person responsible. When I said I would need to ask 500+ people she then stated it was me she was after (use my name when I answer the phone) yet when I asked her my name she paused before stating "Mrs Chen". Hung up. Until next time...

Keeps calling our company. Saying someone has been in accident in the last 2 years. I keep asking for more information, they ask for my name instead. Won't give me any further information. Asked for the ABN number, just hung up. Going under the name of 'Accident Claim Authority'. Googled the name - nothing comes up. They call 2 - 3 times everyday. I keep telling them to take our phone number off their list. Say they have actioned it, they still keep calling 2 - 3 times everyday.

Some Indian or something... calling up about an accident I or a family member had been in within the last 2 years.
Complete scam, phishing call.

They ring - don't speak - then just hang up. Told them to F**k off before they did. Don't think it will stop further calls from these weirdos though. What's the world coming to? DNC register is a joke.

Never give any information out even if you had been in an accident. Let your insurance company or your lawyer deal with all inquiries. I think they are ambulance chasers and will tell you how much you might get if they handle your claim. Of course you will need to pay money up front and you'll be lucky to hear from them after that.

Probable scam. May be associated with (02) 8006 9329 as I have had similar calls from both numbers in the past few days. I am blind in my right eye and do not drive, so no car accident "in the last year" - how vague is that for someone who claims to know about an accident.
