I just answered a call from this number finally and it is SENSIS.

These one ring wonders a anoing but I run a small business if that is what they think. I was thinking of increasing my add space but all I get is a 1 ring wonder.

I got 2 of these calls, where it rings once or twice then hangs up. I called back and got a recorded message about it being Censis, about Yellow Pages and White Pages.

The operator who then took my call said they were with Telstra, with promotional offers. Expressing my confusion, they confirmed they represent both Censis and Telstra. They also confirmed was an auto dialler that had called me and hung up, something about the call ended because the operator may have been put on another call.

The operator offered to let the marketing manager know not to call my number, after I told them my number is private and unlisted (Telstra gave it to them apparently) and that I am on a contract with Optus and have no wish to change.

They ended the call with "Thank you for calling TSA". I assume that is the TSA Group. http://www.tsagroup.com.au/

This is a marketing company for Telstra. The only way to stop them calling is to call back press prompt 1 and tell them you want your number removed. They are trying to upsell.

I have three companies all annoying the hell out of me this one included, my mobile has about 10 missed calls each from these people everyday, Dodo, Sensis and 24/7 insurance company, (02) 9037 0830 no idea who these people are 16 calls so far received. So over this, I'd love to know whose giving out my mobile number....scum suckers!

Get yourself a phone which has a reject list feature. They ring once - you put the number on your personal reject list, and their call never gets through again.

They've been calling me for a good... 4 weeks.
They ring me earlier and earlier, I answered yesterday, before I said hello, beep-beep-beep, they hung up on me.
They rang 7 this morning and I answered, they hung up so I was like, stuff this crap, I'm going down to the phone shop/Telstra to block the bastards! Let's see how that goes.

These are overseas calls. Don't know what their story is. All you have to do is call your service provider and tell them that these people are harassing you over the phone and ignore your pleas to stop calling you. Then request your provider to block the number, if they refuse, tell them that you will contact the communications ombudsman to see what they think? It is your providers duty of care to provide a safe service.

So they just called me again after the 100th time over the past two months, and I finally answered. And spoke to a man that said he was from the Yellow pages blah blah, whatever. I was about to abuse the heck out of him or hang up, but I stayed on the line. He just asked me about my company, but I said this is a provate mobile. So he just told me to wait a few minutes so he could take me off the list. I was about to hang up again, but waited and he came back (after about 2 mins), said sorry for the trouble and hung up. So fingers crossed it worked!... or I just got ultra-stuffed.

three calls in the last 2 days without anyone being there and a 'hang up' within 30 seconds of my answering.
really, really starting to annoy the heck out of me.
tried making a complaint to the telecommunications ombudsman but the online complaint form requires that I've contacted my service provider... which is utterly useless because it's not a technical problem with my phone service provider!

Is there any way to block these nuisance calls. Several times a day they call - they never leave a message.

Continuous calls hanging up. Today there was a person and he tried to tell me they received my online application for a business listing and that is when I said to stop calling.

Calls twice a day for the last two weeks. I would suggest they stop.

These annoying bastards call me continually. The phone always stops ringing before I have a chance to answer which is a crying shame because I have an incredibly loud whistle on standby for them. Have tried calling back but the phone makes a number of weird sounds as though the call is being reversed without my permission. TOTAL SCAM

Been getting these the last few weeks, answered once with foreign gibberish and I hung up, now it just rings once and hangs up, done it the last few days.
Number in domain name registration most likely source.
Blocked it on phone now so gone.
Not convinced its the Sensis thing, seems more scammy. Why would a Sensis dialler hang up after one ring? It wants people to call it back. Not the sort of tight ass tactic I would expect from a large company.

Called our business. Was looking for a completly different business. When i asked who was calling and why, got told SENSIS and for the online profile. Advised the woman on the phone that i had completed a reverse lookup on the number that she is calling from and that i had found a big list of complaints, she hung up.

Very annoying. If you have a smart phone just get any of the free apps to block this number. I'm using "Call Bliss" on iphone

Woman told she was from Yellow Pages & calling about our online business listing. She wanted to check our address. I ended the call swiftly. Called the number back & it is Sensis on behalf of White & Yellow Pages online.
